Deep thinking this new years. I think I want to get a PhD in molecular pharmacology specializing in gene therapy to treat cancer.

I've been dabbing in software engineering and it's been a good eye opener, went into it for the money. Did well in the classes and accepted into the program but I am bored and it feels like a chore. I never felt this way getting my honours in molecular biology. Health sciences still pay extremely well and I could help others in the process.

gene therapy also isn't s lucrative business because it cures the disease with as low as a single treatment. Isn't it the most profitable, absolutely not but not everyone is big pharma. I'm not the biggest fan of some corporations myself.

I know the feelz, left a somewhat promising career because it began to become like a chore for me and other peoples interests. I miss being always active and competitive like I got to be then but I don't feel like I made a wrong decision... You know when you know
