As much as I love the heat i got to say, this is becoming a trash league..

First mike Brown, then Jenkins, now Malone..

What are we doing here? The tenured coaches like Kerr and Spo need to speak up on this bull and call those teams out. Just like Malone did to Sacramento with Mike Brown’s firing earlier this year.

The NBA owners are running this **** like an AAU team allowing the players to have too much control.

Good luck to Malone im sure he will be in the running for the spurs job. I thought that would be Jenkins job to lose but now Malone is the likely front runner.

Exactly what I'm saying and people just get it wrong and media/fans like their narratives.
If you look at objective metrics like LERBRON/EPM, you'll see he clearly played at MVP level (this is regular season data) (4/5+ is MVP, 2/3 Allstar allstar level).
He dragged feaking Gabe/Strus into playoffs in 23 and into the finals, played MVP level through 20-23 with the Heat.

He clearly declined 24 and 25. It's no surprise this team went onto 10 game losing streak after he was gone.

If Jimmy still has that level in him, the GSW are a big threat, hasn't shown it though for a while.

What advanced stat is that chart pointing to ?

LEBRON (Luck-adjusted Player Estimate using a Box prior Regularized ON-off) and EPM (Estimated Plus-Minus) are advanced stats used by NBA teams and analysts to measure a player's true impact on winning; way beyond points or highlights, this isn't some fan made up stuff.

LEBRON focuses on how much better a team performs when a player is on the court, adjusting for teammates and matchups.
EPM takes it further with on-ball value and luck adjustments, aiming to capture all-around impact; offense, defense, everything.

A score around +5 is MVP-level, +2 to +3 is All-Star. So when Jimmy was putting up +4 or +5 from 2020–2023, he was playing elite basketball, whether fans noticed or not and that’s backed by data the league actually uses.

You can find LEBRON on BBall-Index.com and EPM on DunksAndThrees.com. Both sites update regularly and break down these stats for every player, showing offensive, defensive, and total impact. Great spots if you wanna dig deeper into the numbers behind the game.

Interesting first time I see this, pretty lame that they called it LeBron though lol

With what? I doubt the Luka trade is happening AGAIN, I'd definitely think the fix is in if the Lakers got Jokic and Luka for nothing.

If i was running a team and i was stupid enough to listen and entertain Jokic offers, it starts at 8 unprotected first round picks and 2 all stars in return for jokic and im not budging for anything less. Jokic is not going anywhere, stop the stupid pipedreams and rumors. He is in prime and the clear best player on the planet by far.

Jokic is also a very private guy and has shown no desire to become a celebrity. Hes not getting moved.

When Miami wins the Draft Lottery:

Miami gets Jokic and Durant

Denver gets: Flagg, Ware, Rozier, Anderson, any picks and swaps we can trade

Phoenix gets: Wiggins, Robinson, Jaquez, GS pick

Jokic / Love
Bam / Jovic (obviously he stays because Denver fans couldn't possibly stand seeing "Jovic" jerseys in their shops. Too soon)
Durant / Highsmith
Burks / Larsson
Herro / Mitchell / Dragic

We don't know that. Everyone is assuming he's a lifer because he's quiet. He has a chance to be top 10 all time if he can win 2 more titles. He already has the individual awards and the statistical achievements. But he needs more rings. If he gets to 3 or 4, he goes above Curry and then we may need to have the Shaq Jokic conversation. Bit it doesn't look like its gonna happen with Nuggets any time soon.
But he's never given any indication either way that he would be willing to play for another team. He's eligible to sign an extension this summer. So we will have answer in the offseason. If he doesn't sign then everybody needs to ready their offers. So I wouldn't dismiss till we see what he does with the offer

Winning the lottery should equate to us securing our player of the future. Our homegrown superstar. Our next Wade. I am not one who will advocate for trading that for a mercenary.., although Jokic is damn tempting. Not Durant.

He has 3 years 175 million remaining. No team in the NBA can offer the amount of money the nuggets can with him hitting every mark for. Supermax extension.

The nba is such a toxic league, anytime something happens, you all are looking for the next trade conversation and set yourselves up for that dumb talk.

Its like every team in the nba is ran by the same idiots that run the Marlins

Bulls sitting Coby The Giddler and Vucevic tonight against the Cavs minus Mitchell. Resting them for the game against us tomorrow for the 9th seed, assuming Cavs beat them tonight. Who knows

Yeah, weve got the softest schedule in nba history coming up. We can only draft if we lose the play in.

Y'all can't help yourselves blaming players for everything  how is this the players fault?? These front offices are just making weird, awful decisions.

Also I do believe Spo spoke out about the Jenkins firing. This Malone one is TRULY puzzling though. Denver is headed to the playoffs and playing decently despite often injured, midget dingie Jamal Murray being out constantly. And he just won them a championship a few years ago. No grace at all? Very weird.

Welcome to the modern NBA, where players hold the power. Once Malone lost control of the locker room, they fired him immediately.

The Heat and Spurs are the only top-tier organizations left that don’t bow to the players, and I respect that.

A thing to keep an eye on this summer is Heat interest in Julius Randle. I don't like Julius Randle

With the way Ware has played his rookie season I'd personally be surprised if we still went after Randle.

Return to Miami Heat
