I remember Wiggins playing SL despite the shroud of doubt, but he had his contract and only the clout of rumors holding him back

Fairly sure Wiggins had signed with Cleveland, he just couldn't be traded for 30 days. I think once Lebron had made his decision to return to Cleveland (which was early July), rumours kicked into gear and he was dealt for Love once that 30 day period expired.

That's from memory, anyway.

Yea', I said he had his contract.

I was asking if holding a player out of SL was protocol for some agents cause I've never seen/heard of that

It's not normally much of an issue, but I'm certain there have been instances where players have missed the start due to needing their contract to be signed first.

How's Porter doing in SL? Haven't checked to see his stats. He leading them in scoring?

Not playing , Cavs don’t want to show his potential yet. Don’t blame them. For now I’m all in on Herro. Don’t you dare say anything negative about him.

I know agents get paid a portion of that contract, so an agent wouldn't be happy if his client is playing and not signed. So it woulllddd make sense there is an agreement, but I too have never heard of this happening. I mean they can say, don't worry he'll be signed... whether its us (Heat) or the team we trade him too :o

Man I really hope NYK just told Barrett to take it easy and not worry about his numbers during summer league because so far through 3 games he has looked pretty awful.

RJ Barrett in 3 games
11.6ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.6apg, 0.7spg, 1.0bpg, 27.7 FG%, 17.6 3P%, 50 FT%, 30.4mpg

Hoping for his sake its just nerves.

Herro, Nunn and Robinson can all get minutes if we do pull the trigger on a trade.

Herro has to stay, he can be a legit player and even start In a team with Brook and Butler.

Nunn has shown me enough that he can provide solid minutes for us.

Robinson can be great to space the floor also

Read on Twitter
?s=19

This is a encouraging sign being able to pass it out of doubles. He does have to recognize a trap before he gets caught in it. But he was able to get out of it, which is a concern for me because of his length. He had shown in the past to struggle throwing over longer arms. So this is encouraging seeing him able to get it out. This is something Richardson was able to do in summer league but struggle mightly in the NBA. Richardson was notorious for dribbling into doubles and struggling to get it out.

Herro's passing instincts are much better than expected, I don't have the same aspirations for his handle, but it's good fwiw

Well I always knew he knew where to pass. My biggest concerns is can he make the pass and dribble under pressure rather its fullcourt, up top when they are respecting his 3 or in the paint around big hands. He has been ripped at least twice when pressed. But you do see improvement.
