Topic
Knecht
McCain
Carter

I'm good with any of them. I'd also be good with Da Silva, mostly because I appreciate how difficult it has been for us to find a 3&D 4 with size, albeit my guy Niko is my starter going forward. Da Silva is nearly 3 years older than Niko. Wild.

*Shooter Alert!*

Payton Sandfort 6'7.5 212 lbs stretch forward
16.4 pts, 6.6 rbs, 2.7 ast, 37.9 3p%, 7.3 3pa, 91 ft%

Could be a 2nd round or UDFA target with potential to become an elite shooter. He has a very good high Larry Bird type of release. If he tightens up on his footwork he will become an elite shooter. And he can rebound!

We've cornered the market on the Duncan/Swider architect, how is this guy's defense?

Feels like a good draft to get a second pick in the mid first.

Im very open to trading Herro to the Magic/Bulls/Pelicans for their pick.

Adding 1 of Carter/Collier/Carrington + 1 of Ware/Filipowski/Holmes will be amazing for our salary situation going forward and we get a lot bigger at 2 positions.

If we stay with the theme of drafting older ready to contribute day one type of players which I assume we will considering the state of our cap and the potential loss of both Martin and Highsmith then here goes my top 4.

1st rd

PF/SF Tristan da Silva 6'9 (23)
PG Devin Carter (22)
SG/SF Dalton Knecht 6'6 (23)
PF/C Daron Holmes (22)

Anton Watson 6'8 230 lbs forward
14.5 pts, 7.1 rbs, 2.8 ast, 41.2 3p%, 60.8 eFG
extremely amazing touch

https://www.noceilingsnba.com/p/anton-watson-is-this-years-skeleton

I often start my columns by focusing on the offensive capabilities of a prospect, but with Anton Watson, the other end of the floor is just too impressive. It starts with Watson’s physical profile, as he’s a legitimate 6’8” with other plus measurements. At last year’s G League Elite camp, Watson was measured at 241 pounds with a 7’0” wingspan. To be so quick and strong simultaneously is a tribute to the length and strength combo that powers Watson’s game.

These attributes make Anton Watson a dangerous rebounder on both ends of the floor. He’s hovered around similar defensive and offensive rebounding percentages in his five years. Still, the fact that he’s been able to maintain his production as he scales up in minutes speaks to rebounding being a plus skill for him at the next level.

from the little I can see watching a whole game, he is a solid (IQ) team defender and can slide his feet. Could be better.
