Jokic is not going anywhere, stop the stupid pipedreams and rumors. He is in prime and the clear best player on the planet by far.

Jokic is also a very private guy and has shown no desire to become a celebrity. Hes not getting moved.

We don't know that. Everyone is assuming he's a lifer because he's quiet. He has a chance to be top 10 all time if he can win 2 more titles. He already has the individual awards and the statistical achievements. But he needs more rings. If he gets to 3 or 4, he goes above Curry and then we may need to have the Shaq Jokic conversation. Bit it doesn't look like its gonna happen with Nuggets any time soon.
But he's never given any indication either way that he would be willing to play for another team. He's eligible to sign an extension this summer. So we will have answer in the offseason. If he doesn't sign then everybody needs to ready their offers. So I wouldn't dismiss till we see what he does with the offer

He has 3 years 175 million remaining. No team in the NBA can offer the amount of money the nuggets can with him hitting every mark for. Supermax extension.

The nba is such a toxic league, anytime something happens, you all are looking for the next trade conversation and set yourselves up for that dumb talk.

Its like every team in the nba is ran by the same idiots that run the Marlins

Well said.

With Ware and Edrice on the court we have the 2nd best defense in the league, I’d say by hopefully next season that could be 1st as Ware gets more comfortable/knowledgeable and grows into his body more. We’re going to be looking for a perimeter star who plays any of the 1-3 positions, we have the 4/5 figured out (unless of course some wild trade for giannis/jokic goes down).

Imagine if they were able to find a way to keep Wiggins too:

Herro
Wiggins
KD
Bam
Ware

Would be insane size and 2 way play

Would be nice but with respect to the cap he’s going to have to be included in order to take on the extra money of Durant’s contract and keep it within reason of the tax line for the next few years. Suns will also need a respectable player back in return and he’ll slot into there starting SF role. I assume Jovic is also heading there since I believe he was a wanted piece by them.

Becoming a staple vet backup PF we have needed for a while now. On a cheap 9 million dollar expiring next year. Will allow us to use Jovic in a package for a star player as he’ll be more valued in trade over Anderson. Slo Mo also allows us to continue to keep grooming Keshad Johnson behind him for the eventual take over on the cheap.

Herro/Mitchell
Pelle/Burks
KD/Duncan
Bam/Highsmith
Ware/Anderson

Not a bad start to a build, especially if we see more growth from Bam Herro and Ware

Think they were like 15-3 when KD and Booker played this year without Beal too

I feel like we’ll end up signing a placeholder vet PG on a minimum or with some type of exception. Probably will also sign a cheap vet Center or some young cast off we can develop. Brogden, Paul, or even Tyus Jones. We’ll be able to bring on our draft pick slow.

Yea we’ll definitely be making some vet minimum signings. I wouldn’t mind CP out there setting the table and knocking down 3s

I hope the perception that KD is washed/not worth salary/not a winning player permeates enough thru the NBA zeitgeist to allow a reasonable deal to get done. Would be a fun build.

I joke around with my friends (Pacers/Lakers/Celtics fans) every time theres some sort of trade rumor that whatever player it is is coming to Miami and they’ve said they can’t even troll me on KD because it’s probably going to happen lol. So I guess even from an outside perspective it seems likely

It would smack everyone in the face after he got here and we’re just running through teams lol

It will need to be a "star" that is better than Butler.

Don't think Wiggins has endeared himself with the Heat after spending more time in the trainer's room than on the court.

I would agree, think it’s 15 games played and 15 missed since he’s gotten here. I’ve personally enjoyed the team better when he’s out but he does have experience as a top 5 guy on a championship team so they probably like that and he actually plays defense
