We’re also in a great position… if a star were to ask out. 2 picks and a handful of youthful talent, and a deep bench to fill in the holes.

Herro, and one of Jaquez/Ware and 2 firsts is as good a package as any. Curious to see how the Giannis situation plays out.

I’m guessing Dru and Davion will split the backup duties. Wiggs is the only one averaging 33 minutes per game, and every other starter hover around 30 minutes, that kind of playing time for every player would be huge given the pace we're playing at. We are deep AF.

I feel Larson is blossoming right before our eyes. His ability to draw fouls is insane for a 2nd year guard. His defense is great and he does all the dirty work, little things. He’s Udonis Haslem with hops and a 3pt shot if UD was 6’5 and was Swedish.

Him and Jaquez have been pleasant surprises this season. Imagine at the end of last season that Jaquez, Mitchell and Ware would be blossoming and were wanting Larson to start over them because he’s blossoming as well. It’s a good problem to have.

VERY curious to see what level Herro plays with this team. He was looking elite to start last season playing off the ball.

Agree with your thoughts. Jovic just living to disappoint me this season isn't taking that SF role.

I've been sorta sitting on this vibe too. I went to the game in Chicago sat like 12 rows up it was the first time I've seen the Heat play this season in person. Pelle is a baller. I basically just watched him and talked chat to my Aunt and Uncle in-laws (both 40+ year season ticket holders) and he just has such a great feel for the game. The movement is always efficient, he's never panicking, shot is true. I was really impressed with his just overall game. Imo he's an off-season of dribble packages away from being a really piece given how polished everything else already is.

JJJ was messed up all last season. He clearly had a soft tissue injury given just how unathletic he was during stretches vs his rookie and current season. I was a broken record in the Reg. Season thread about it.

There’s ALOT potential in Larson. Even in Jaquez.

Like you said….IMAGINE Larson with handles….. he’s drawing fouls by being a slasher only, imagine him in control consistently driving to the rim….

Now

Imagine Jaquez with a developed 3pt shot. It would unlock the court for him. Would let him drive to the rim with less pressure if they’re guarding him out at the 3pt line.

Those 2 have another level in them.
