Supposedly there's an interview w/ Damon Jones -- he was with Lebron a lot this week -- where he talks about how difficult a decision this was for Lebron, etc. Have you guys seen it?

They need to accept to play for the vet minimum that's all that's left after Miller signing and either Fisher or haslem. But apparently there are allot of players calling the heat front office willing to play for the vet minimum. I hope kwame is one of them and get sign but if there is a better name like shaq he could be the ine sign. We have to wait and see. Juan Howard is being named I don't like him because of his age and speed also shaq is too slow too he slow down Phoenix to a snail pace.

Shaq will be on the Heat. He is still too valuable against major centers. Yes, he is just a shell of his old self, but that's still 80% better than most centers. It is laughable that some here are saying Rasho and others over Shaq.

Look for both Shaq and Big Z to come to the Heat. Both complimented each other last year and Mr. Riley and N. Arison like that since they both can't handle the entire load at their current stages.

Sorry if this was posted somewhere else, couldn't find it so created a new thread. Anyway in Coon's latest espn article he actually states you can sign haslem for min and keep his bird rights:

"Another player who could be a good fit is the Heat's own Udonis Haslem (who could sign for the minimum this season and be taken care of by the Heat next summer, as they retain his Bird rights). "

Not sure how this works, is anyone else? I know they have to renounce bird rights as it is a cap hold this year, but does it reset next year?

If this is the case you can easily keep haslem, right? Just give him min and promise a nice contract next year. You still have the 4.8 million to go after other guys, and can almost certainly get fisher then.

Apparently, Wade wants him back and what Wade wants, Wade gets.

Even tho he chucked some 3's in 4 on 1 fastbreak situations back here....I wouldnt mind him at all just to make Wade happy.

Much rather have him than Iverson if that's the case.

But I tell you...Eddie House is what I want to get as the backup PG.
