My thoughts from the game:
What a great game.
Felt like a playoff game.
D-Wade is a killer.
Rio Had a good game.
Pay the man Dragic.
Whiteside is Whiteside
Refs Treated Kyrie like Jordan.
and Same old Lebron "lets half ass our way into a deficit only to try to turn up the effort too late in the game" James.

but if not? just tank man, it sucks now that Boston is in the picture AND we lost to them

Well, we have no choice in the matter, but if I did, I would let them play their hearts out and get into the playoffs. Clearly, ours is a team with something to prove. I know a lot of you think that what the players say doesn't matter, that these are just - what was it? platitudes? - but the fact is that these are athletes with very short playing careers. Dwyane Wade has missed the playoffs once in his career. I don't think he intends to let that happen again if he can help it.

And I'm sorry if you would prefer to have a pick. You will get a pick next year though. And we have a second round pick this year in the 40s. That's about where Goran was selected by the Spurs, so get busy.

we play both those teams later on

this is the only chance IMO Heat have in terms of having a turning point

gotta beat people like Portland, Denver. We'll lose at OKC but if we can go 2-1 ... we should make a run for 6th IMO. Bucks are falling off.

we almost beat Portland, but we let Whiteside sit the whole 3rd... I'll never forget that :( lol

The tricky part is that we are 1-2 against Indy and Cha.. so we could tie the season head-to-head, but our division record is so horrible at 4-9 (WTF!!!!) that I don't think we'll get tie breakers over either team. They both have 7-5 division record atm.

I think we can beat POR and DEN.. IF WE CAN PLAY LIKE WE DID TONIGHT!!!

OKC will be tough because Westbrook is going ham right now. Ibaka is out with knee issues though.

We do have must-win games against Indy and Charlotte along the way. With Charlotte, however, they still have a better division record than we do, so they will really have to fold their hand. They play the Clippers and the Kings next on a west coast tour that hits Minnesota and Chicago on the way back. I think they could lose some of them.

this win doesnt take away the losses (which impact us WAY more) we have endured. If this team makes the playoffs, so be it, I rather get 6th seed but we have to make a run for it.

people realize Wade had to play like flash for us to win right? Wade can't play like this EVERY GAME. And if he does, he'll get hurt before playoff time. Thats why I dont think we make the playoffs, not with other teams getting hot.

That's right, Iggie. Tiebreakers against them will be a nightmare. We have to pull away from them somehow. I would hope a win like tonight would do it for us, but I thought the same thing the last time we beat Cleveland and when we beat Chicago too, so my feet are firmly on the ground. Fortunately, we all have tough schedules ahead.

I don't watch Cavs games enough to really know much about Blatt, but why was he using Porkins in the middle at the end?

He is much like Spo when losing in a way that he just goes with the lineup that's making a comeback.

It really helped us sustain our lead tonight because the lane was wide open for Wade and Dragon. They were making a comeback because LeBron and JJ hitting 3s like crazy, it had nothing to do with Porkins jogging back and forth

Yes, I realize that he had to push himself. He needs more help. I think that was what he truly meant before in that link you posted.

We have to go with what we have though. And we have a bit of an illusion about how easy it is for the other teams. It's not easy for anyone. We play the same teams (roughly) and have hard schedules and we're about the same level. We have as much right to be in the playoffs as the others and perhaps more because we have Wade & Deng & others who have the experience.

If we get to the playoffs, it's a reset. Aside from HCA, we get to have a new season again. I think that it will be a bit of relief for them and us. Let's hope so.

plus he had Marion in, I don't think he really thought they were pulling that comeback off with them playing. Did kyrie even play the fourth? really weird lineup at the end there

I think he had to be resting Kyrie... if Kyrie was in those final minutes I wouldnt have liked our chances.

that line up was awful!! LMAO. one thing with Spo is he does put in his big guns atleast, except Whiteside... but yeah...

no Kyrie wasnt in there. I think he gave up but he kept LeBron in there... but they could have made a legit comeback, they have the personnel. oh well aint our problem lmao
