I have never seen so many bad contracts you have guys who are max 3-5mil players getting like 10-15mil, like Niang/Struss/Carter what a joke.

We gonna have a undrafted pg rookie starting at the start of the season because Lowry needs to go.

What if Dame is waiting to see if we upgrade that team before he make up his mind? Granted from what we have seen and how we are adverse to spending the answer is kinda crystal clear.

There will be no pivot.

By the time we'll want to pivot, there will be nothing left to pivot to

bummer I wanted the Kyrie FA charade to go on for a few days as he made visits to destinations that didn't have cap space to sign him.

Well i said it in the other thread, we are not goint going to do anything this summer which was expected. The Heat are going to drag this out till the deadline, they have no choice.

They will hold onto lowry on the roster until the february deadline because his expiring is an asset. There will be a team by the deadline that is going to look for cap relief and trade away their star player(s). Thats when we come in to improve the talent level.

For now, i imagine the Heat’s focus is on the development of Jovic, Highsmith JJJ and other undrafted free agents we signed in the summer league.

So yall go crazy about who signed where, and who is the offseason champions. Looks like the Suns are the offseason champs so far.. but the Heat are are gonna hold aon any trades until the right players are offered for cap relief. And theyve probably had a bunch of teams call them already asking for lowry’s expiring.

Only difference we went on an another ego-inflating run like the playoffs before Waiter / James Johnson FA off-season…

you guys spent the last couple of days saying Strus and Vincent were easily replaceable so no worries, we're not even an hour into free agency

I don't know how many more times people needed to say in here that Miami wasn't going to be players in FA this season. Not to mention most of these deals are fringe rotation guys going elsewhere or big players staying with their teams. Nothing big has happened otherwise.

It's honestly hilarious seeing reactions on here. Suddenly every scrub is a big miss. And despite weeks on here spelling out Miami's circumstances re free agency there's complete ignorance being shown to it

Expiring only have value if you take back bad contracts. We are incapable of doing that because of the tax consequences. That won't change by the trade deadline.

This doesn't make any logical sense. The core he would be playing with is Jimmy and Bam, what more would he need to see? We don't have money, we have no exceptions, all we have to offer are minimum contracts. Our "assets" are being held for a hypothetical trade.
