Not sure how this works, is anyone else? I know they have to renounce bird rights as it is a cap hold this year, but does it reset next year?

If this is the case you can easily keep haslem, right? Just give him min and promise a nice contract next year. You still have the 4.8 million to go after other guys, and can almost certainly get fisher then.

It's against league rules to sign for small amount then resign later for a higher paid deal. Pat got in trouble for trying this years ago. Doubt he risks it.

P.S: I google searched your name and made it specific to find realgm related stuff. Turns out you are a chicago fan jumping the 'wagon. Or it seems like that

I know its crazy but maybe if when bulls have to pay rose they wont have enough for Noah? maybe that wont happen but he has the most heart out of any center in the NBA well at least that's what i think after watching him last few seasons if not most likely is Erik Dampier next season.

Haslem will get his 4-6 million a year deal. Don't think he stays in Miami.

Uh no. I'm a die hard phoenix suns fan who wanted to see a super team (especially since this isn't 05/06/07 when suns had a real shot at title, if suns had a shot at title of course I don't want a strong team in their way). So yes I've been posting in bulls and heat forum the last few weeks or so since they are the only teams that could build a super team (bulls with rose/james/bosh/noah).

I'm glad it ended up in miami, chicago already had a dynasty.

Even though you guys will fill out your roster with some vet minimum guys, in order to beat LA (that is who you will meet if you guys make it to the finals) you got to get some defensive minded bigs with length to deal with Bynum, Gasol and Odom. Are there any athletic bigs with length available for the vet minimum? Juwan Howard is not gonna cut it. Kwame Brown (you can stop laughing now) might be the best guy available and he should come cheap.

If Noah hits the free agent market, he will be worth alot more than the MLE. But it is good to dream sometimes. Imagine Yao Ming signing with the Heat next year. Just need to get Chris Paul next. Then the Heat will have arguably, when healthy, the best players at every position.

Apparently, Wade wants him back and what Wade wants, Wade gets.

Even tho he chucked some 3's in 4 on 1 fastbreak situations back here....I wouldnt mind him at all just to make Wade happy.

Much rather have him than Iverson if that's the case.

But I tell you...Eddie House is what I want to get as the backup PG.

Much rather have great /good defenders at the point.

Doolings, M James, & even Beverly could bring that.

TMK, yes. You will have the MLE and LLE.

Though, someone correct me if I am wrong, isn't there something where you can't use the MLE in consecutive years?

I don't think Haslem will settle for the minimum, especially since he knows that there's a market out there for his services.

I heard we've offered a 9M/2years contract to Derek Fisher. Is it true?
I think it would be a pretty bad move.
We should make the best of our remaining cap space to sign a veteran big guy.
(I prefer Kurt Thomas.)

He reportedly received a $2.5 million offer for next season from Los Angeles. Miami could likely offer Fisher up to $4.5 million, based on its available cap space even after paying James, Bosh and Wade.

However, I found this by searching on Google.
