Lewis is better for us then jamison, better shooter and better in the locker room.

====================

Right now with Miller gone and Varnado not doing anything to make me think we'll bring him back, we have 3 roster spots open.

Top 6 options are : Oden, Dalembert, Mo Williams, Gary Neal and cheap rookies Ian Calark and James Ennis.

Being realistic, with the first 3 names demanding serious money..my ideal 3 would be :

Oden - MiniMLE (he needs the cash since he doesn't know long his career going to last)
Dalembert - Vet Min (or some kind of sign and trade? Joel + a draft pick maybe) Dally is strange enough to take the Vet min out of nowhere. we could give him a big contract next year.
Clark/Ennis - dont really care, the diffrence is we can send Ennis to europe to devlope and keep his rights. we cant do that with Clark. I'll be fine with whoever Spo and Pat like better during camp.

Rio/Cole/Clark
Wade/Allen/Clark
LBJ/Battier/JJ
Bosh/Lewis/Haslem
Dalembert/Birdman/Oden/Joel(?)

I believe this is a better team then we had last year, and if Oden is healthy for the playoffs - it's a
significantly better team.

Miami cannot be involved in a sign and trade. Tax teams cannot participate in sign and trades...

Gooden was also a former teammate of LeBron's.

Mo Williams was a bitch to Lebron when he left... don't know their friendship now.

Lol@Jamison. We have Lewis at VET MIN, no need to get Jamison.

We need to get better defense man, some of these names popping up are bad at defense and chuckers...

The only way we can S&T is if we end up below the apron after the S&T. So we need to be taking a lot less salary back.

So you have an idea:
Last years tax: $70.3m
Last years apron: $74.3m
Current salary (after MM amnesty): $80.8m

So we'd need to be taking back about $7m less in a S&T. Considering UD ($4.3m) is our biggest non-big-3 contract it's not gonna happen. We'd need to send out UD/Rio/Joel to be able to take back $5m starting salary.

Right now I would offer, Joel for a bag of chips and sign Oden/Gooden.

Please, no Gooden. He's easily the worst defender in the league. Like not just Amare or Boozer bad - I'm talking Amare and Boozer gave birth to a child who was fathered by Mike Dantoni bad

Marcus Camby just bought out, always injured so don't nessacarilly want him but if we don't get Oden or Dalembert, Miami should sign him for insurance purposes.

You left off JJ & the bag of chips :)

Not interested in Gooden, surely there's a young unproven, athletic big who's better to give that spot to.

Sean Cunningham ‏@News10Sean

Free agent center Greg Oden met with Kings today, appears Miami will make bigger push though after using amnesty on Mike Miller
