Pajama Man needs to go. Washed bum.

I wasn’t really impressed with Dru this preseason even though Spo did highlight him as one of the guys having a good camp. It could be them banking on their development program or trying to maintain some flexibility as Ira alludes to

I can’t believe Cain didn’t get a standard deal, hopefully RJ is on a 2 way?

Spo likes Dru, and we’re thin on trustworthy ball handlers. Cain can be signed on later. All makes sense. Check ball Wednesday night.

So they gave the standard contract to the most bland player we have in a position of need, makes sense. They have invested a lot into Dru Smith they could cut him at the end of the season if it goes bad.

I mention the Heats problem of settng up the offense because lack of point guards for about a year and recently mention the importance of the point guard setting up the offense right being the #1 cause of a offense taking shots late in the shot clock. Then Heat signs Dru just for that reason lol

My impression of Dru is he is a good practice player but not in live games. And there are plenty of players like that. Look like Jordan in practice but look like Dru in the preseason during games.

2-ways are Cain, Hampton, and Swider.

Dru is an in case of emergency PG, maybe he develops like Gabe option, and if all else fails… trade throw in or easy cut option.

“I’m one of the best young scorers in the league,” Herro told The Ringer, “and I have the potential to be the best scorer in the NBA at some point.”

I believe the Heat want Cain to keep developing in the G-league. There is absolutely no mins available on the active roster. That had to have a lot to do with it

Come on guys...stop it. We didn't get Dame, Jrue, and maybe not Harden but we got a solid consolidation prize.

Dru "The Spirit Airbus" Smith. I love it.....where's the rest of my alcohol :(

I'd love to see Jovic playing some defense.

I'm not taking much from Jovic this preseason. Last game he was favoring his knee. That is my main concern. I do not think its a good idea trying to learn on a bad knee.

WTF! Well was to be expected, Spo's found his new Gabe. He is now the new coach's pet and will play more than JJJ or Jovic probably and be part of 2 PG lineups with Lowry. Gonna be fun to watch!

The G-League team is going to be god like with Cain/JJJ/Jovic/Slyder/Hampton this year.
