no doubt we will add lewis to the roster after that meeting...then we still need a legit center...call it an offseason

We have a legit Center. His name is Chris Bosh.

By the way I don't think any Celtics' player like Ainge anyways. He's tried to trade all of them before, even Rondo. So I think it has to do more with the fact that he was benched and then neglected by Rondo offensively.

Why do we need a legit center?

alright legit may be the wrong word...we need an average center...so basically not eddy curry and dexter pittman material...they are way under average

Because sometimes you dont want to play small-ball. If the matchup isnt good, or if you dont want to grind your stars, or if a big goes down, or if you want to do something different for whatever reason in a long NBA season.

If Dwight Howard ends up in Brooklyn we need a legit center to box him out and play good 1on1 defense. Wouldn't want to have to double him because we're too small. Then rebound by committee. How's Joel's defense against Dwight?

I don't get how we're so small when Lebron is at the 4 and Bosh is at the 5. Um that's a legit PF/C combo. They may not be 7 feet but they play better than most 7 footers at those positions.

Pittman, Joel and Curry are plenty to bother Dwight, foul him and get him off his game some to allow Bron and Wade along with Battier and Allen to disrupt the Nets...

You're welcome LeBron.

Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.

Do you want Bosh and LeBron to get injured again? We can't play them at those positions every game.

Bosh will always play against the biggest guy on the court. It doesn't matter what position he plays. Even then, do we actually believe nba centers are so much bigger and stronger than nba power forwards?

We could use a defensive center, like a Pryzbilla or Fesenko, just for insurance... I don't see what is so wrong about that
