Miami Heat FO failing miserably the last two years on the free agent/acquisition market and continuing the trend is pissing me off. Running it back is simply not an option.

He’ll be with his boy Bridges.

Bam is also his boy, he said it himself.
The Heat are a proven organization and Portland will do by his decision out of respect, and anything besides Bam and Butler goes at that point.

What’s hilarious if BK gets Lillard is they’ll have plenty of money to sign Jeremy Grant in free agency lol

Again, the Heat organization is a proven playoff organization.
These players look at that all things considered.
Bk hasn’t won a thing.
Something to think about.

Portland is going to take the very best deal. Right now that’s BK. Heat only have two damn picks to trade right now and they are most likely going to want a clean break on that contract. Lowry and Oladipo just like for Beal is not enough and puts are cap tax into orbit. We would need them to take Herro and Robinson or find teams that will absorb those salaries. Stupid complicated to deal with when you have a BK team with ready now fully matching expiring’s and picks ready to rock and roll.

What is also surprising is Washington doesn't want to rebuild with Herro.

He is on a fine contract and similar production with Beal and younger. Maybe they are not trusting his health moving forward?

Goes to show how NBA teams perception of him. Herro is lucky Pat is also a wildcat.

Lillard/Bridges/Grant vs. Butler/Bam/Zeller is setting up to be one hell of a first-round matchup, assuming the Heat can get by the play-in.

Same pacifying cope talk as with Beal. Blazers are obligated to find the best deal and Lillard already mentioned BK as a suitable destination. Blazers could care less what type of organization we are. They want what’s best for them and in there minds they are sending Lillard to a team he mentioned so best deal and sending him to a destination he deems suitable.

Herro, Martin, Lowry, Jovic, make selection (19th pick) for Portland, and 3 first rounders for Dame and Nurkic. Portland gets 2 young players, Herro is on a reasonable deal and fits their timeline, Caleb is on a super bargain deal and also fits timeline. They get an immediate pick as well as 3 future picks PLUS a young stud who has immense potential for his size in Jovic. Expiring in Lowry they can trade for another pick or young player. Miami also absorbs Nurkic’s contract since he won’t be part of the rebuild.

Mitchell didn't, KD also, Beal too.....Lillard will have to demand Miami & Miami only. He has to genuinly want to be here or Portland will accept the best offer like w/ KD & Beal. I 'm not going to anticipate this happening. What star player has the nuts like Jimmy to want them some of that Heat culture.

If no one, then f*ck 'em all...run this sh*t back. Unleash Herro & Jovic.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I was thinking the same exact thing. They could have had a young building block but maybe they said hey will take our chances with Johnny Davis who we took 10th overall instead of paying 27 mil for Herro.

This franchise can really frustrate us in the offseason, but man are we lucky not to be Washington fans. Just brutal. Traded Beal for a bag of chips.

I’d be happy with just some smart calculated moves to add depth to this roster. Give me Bodgan Bogdonovic and i’ll be happy. Have him school Jovic on how to be a deadly offensive threat.

Hes on a bad contract and there is not a team in the league is going to build around a guy who is not a starter on contending teams and is best suited in a sixth man role.

Youre never going to see an all nba player say, oh i want to join forces with tyler herro and between myself and Herro we will lead the team and win championships. Herro is not that guy.

Herro is a luxury type of player on a contending team. Not a building block on a rebuilding team.

He is a guy you have on the right price to come off the bench and provide scoring. Lou Williams, Jordan Clarkson, what Jordan Poole was for Golden State before they paid him and felt they needed to start him because of his pay. Thats what Herro is best suited for.

Honestly what are you going to do with Herro in the wizards if youre a GM on that salary.. a team that is probably looking to tank..

A rebuilding team who will most likely have there backcourt of the future locked up super cheap with Scoot and Sharpe is going to have zero need for any incoming long term salary. They already have a two guard locked up to a 24 per deal in Simons.

I’m so disheartened…this sucks. We will waste our time seeing everyone making moves waiting on Dame and he will never come.

This team sucks

Yup. I'm off the whale hunting stuff. I can see us make some smaller impactful moves that will better round out this team. i'm not going to puff on any hopium smoke.

And as I mentioned they already have a young 2 guard who they drafted 10th overall last year in Johnny Davis they probably want a long look at on the cheap. I wouldn’t necessarily say Herro is on a bad contract but he’s certainly worth more to us right now then many other teams around the nba for what it’s worth.

Riley is not the GM. Andy Elisburg is the GM.
