I think Collier's range in outcomes ranges from Baron Davis on the high end, Eric Bledsoe/Tyreke Evans in the middle, or Emmanuel Mudiay on the low end. It all depends if his shooting and decision making ever comes along.

Looking at our cap situation and the way the big man free agent market looks for vets at both the 4/5 spots and the impending loss of Martin and Highsmith who where both small players forced to play as 4's in this system. This team desperately needs to go for some size at 15. I see plenty of guards and wing players that are great gambles in the second round but little to no bigs. I assume Kevin Love is going to opt into his 4 million dollar player option because he's not getting anything more then vet minimum in the open market. Delon Wright played very well for us and seems like an easy minimum player to bring back at 32 and give us depth behind Rozier. The 3rd PG could easily be someone we get in the second round to bring along slowly. It's also possible we look to get a wing shooter. Plenty of those types will be available in the second round..

Our current front court state:

C Bam Adebayo C Thomas Bryant(2.8 player opt) C Orlando Robinson (2.1 million non guaranteed fully on 7/15)

PF Nikola Jovic PF Kevin Love(4 mil player opt)

Made me depressed at the sad state of the front court just typing this

I really really really like what I see from DaRon Holmes. He damn near does everything I've been wanting out of a 4/5. Imagine having someone like this that's able to work in and out with Bam and Jovic in a 3 man front court rotation with a sprinkle of Kevin Love.

All reports have said that Carter dominated the combine and looks to have locked himself into the lottery.

One of the very best breakdown articles on DaRon Holmes. Definitely one of my "My guys" in this draft right next to Tristan da Silva.

Seeing how JJJ was originally mocked as a early mid second round pick and sky rocketed to the Heat at 18 because of his seamless fit tells me we’ll have no problem taking Holmes at 15 if he kills his workout with us.

He’s the player that if he makes it to 15 probably zero chance we pass on him.

I'm stanning hard here for DaRon Holmes. Shout out to Greg for being nice and early on this one. This kid is ready to go day one and help our front court out.

Rumored some teams have him at #1. Would be shocked to see the Hawks go with another small guard. Right now all the talk is between Risacher and Sarr with an outside shot at Clingan.

I do think Reed Sheppard by far is the best shooting prospect in the draft with McCain at 2. Sheppard needs to be playing with a big distributing guard in the backcourt. I have him with Cunningham in Detroit. I also have no problems with him going 3 to Houston having Thompson as a future backcourt running mate.

From Jon G

Isaiah Collier did not alleviate concerns around his lack of perimeter shooting in drills. He then also sat out his pro day, which was an opportunity to showcase himself in a different light with decision-makers on hand from every NBA team. Teams say it's unclear how much competitive action they'll be able to see from Collier in pre-draft workouts, which might create a somewhat wide range on draft night

teams such as the Portland Trail Blazers or the Memphis Grizzlies try to move up on draft night to snag their starting center of the future. There is some chatter, however, that Clingan has fans among the Hawks' constituency at No. 1, meaning there's a lot left to be played out between now and June 26

Red flags be a poppin with Collier. I don’t think we’ll be going near him

Grizzlies obvious choice by far to trade up for Clingan. Houston at 3 seems like the obvious target.Rockets have Sengun and traded for Steven Adams. Don’t think they are in the market for Clingkong.

I am still taking Collier. I take he is trying to dictate who drafts him. The talent is too great

If Topic is gonna fall to 10, I’d love to see how we can move up from 15 to nab him. Really love his game, and would be epic to get Gogi on the staff to work with him.

Collier is trying to hide his broken shot as much as he can I bet. And what's crazy is that it doesn't look THAT bad form wise, it's just stiff and doesn't spin the ball properly. Like it's a knuckle ball or something. That's kinda a concerning problem to have tho, no clear problems make it harder to fix, if he even can.
