You'd be getting one of the most clutch players in the league after coming off of a season in which you lost about 15 games by less than 5 points. You'd also be getting that alpha that you were missing, allowing Herro and Bam to nicely place themselves in the scoring hierarchy (2nd and 3rd, respectively) - where they rightfully belong.
It would fix a lot of problems. If you couldn't get Donovan Mitchell, Jalen Brunson is the next best available.
I still think this is all noise and Brunson resigns with NY lol
Brunson was out partying with all his teammates last night. Just a bunch of tabloid fodder. Brunson has too many internal connections in NY to ever consider coming here

Yeah he feels like a Knicks lifer to me. I think they're idiots for firing Thibs, KAT is the piece they should be considering moving (but won't) because he's too flawed a player in too many ways, and they could sell high on him now.
If for whatever reason Miami was in play, I'd think Herro would be involved in the deal anyways, or you move Tyler somewhere else since Jalen is already more of a scorer than passer, and focus on defense at the 2 and 3.
Regardless sticking to my original assumption that this is a boring offseason for us.
