We dont even know if Miami is his preference. Nothing from any of the national dogs even mentioning Miami so far.

I’d take Gambo’s word over Shams or some randos when it comes to Suns. So that means it’s down to Houston or San Antonio.

Durant is not interested in Miami. this is from a “source” who’s a pro athlete trainer/coach down here that i grew up with & made connections with the Wades & LBJ from Gulliver Prep. let me know LBJ was leaving & that Wade was prepping for “Last Dance” when he still had not announced if he was coming back for 1 last szn. hes not very plugged in at all but he gets a couple interesting pieces from Heat guys every now and then. I’ve posted about him a couple times over the years but just grain of salt.. i think it’s interesting he told me over the weekend and this week it’s been nonstop momentum for other teams in reports.

This dude Evan Sidery put the Heat first in the tweet so it totally looks like they're leading the race. Nice try, not falling for that one.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all. Did he give any info on guys we may be interested in or just briefly mention the KD thing?

Evan Sidery is a fraud who knows nothing but just piggybacks every report from every somewhat respectable reporter/insider. He’s only a good follow so you can stay in the loop and see reports you may have missed

Only the Knicks could make it to the Eastern Conference Finals and still look like they’re rebuilding and imploding at the same time.

Peak Knicks behavior.

Backcourt of Brunson / Herro would be problematic defensively, but not as bad as Trae / Herro.

You'd be getting one of the most clutch players in the league after coming off of a season in which you lost about 15 games by less than 5 points. You'd also be getting that alpha that you were missing, allowing Herro and Bam to nicely place themselves in the scoring hierarchy (2nd and 3rd, respectively) - where they rightfully belong.

It would fix a lot of problems. If you couldn't get Donovan Mitchell, Jalen Brunson is the next best available.

I still think this is all noise and Brunson resigns with NY lol

Brunson was out partying with all his teammates last night. Just a bunch of tabloid fodder. Brunson has too many internal connections in NY to ever consider coming here

Yeah he feels like a Knicks lifer to me. I think they're idiots for firing Thibs, KAT is the piece they should be considering moving (but won't) because he's too flawed a player in too many ways, and they could sell high on him now.

If for whatever reason Miami was in play, I'd think Herro would be involved in the deal anyways, or you move Tyler somewhere else since Jalen is already more of a scorer than passer, and focus on defense at the 2 and 3.

Regardless sticking to my original assumption that this is a boring offseason for us.

The Knicks team president is Leon Rose who happens to be Brunson’s godfather lol. The only reason the Heat were granted anything with Brunson was to probably try to avoid the look of nepotism which in this case it clearly was. The Heat had zero shot at Brunson then and they’ll have zero shot at Brunson now. Not even worth speculating.

NBA story of the week..... WE KNOW DRAMA....

Feels right to be talking about my most hated rival again. The Knicks are gonna be really interesting this summer. That job could be an insane opportunity. That team has enough talent. I respect firing Thibs. His skillset is what it is. Agree with MWP too. No chance on them trading Jalen. He's a lifer. This team makes some minor adjustments they're gonna be fine. I also don't see them trading Kat unless it's a win / win situation. Hypo: Are the Knicks better with Donte and Randle (do they get this version of Randle) than they are with Kat. Depth vs Scoring.

Remember the Suns have a very inexperienced GM and still under the I.e. advisement of James Jones. This may well be a very unorganized process. I wouldn't be surprised if coaches who interviewed for the job backed out. I sense the Suns are a hot mess

One of the highest paid rosters in the league too. This squad has got to be the worst production per dollar teams in the NBA. The Heat attitude has become one of hubris. They need to clean house in management and get back that pick up by the boot strap and get to work hunger.
Proud embarrassment

Return to Miami Heat
