Fishers best assets are his 3 point shooting and stealing ability. I don't see a dimension he can add to be honest apart from experience.

Not really news, but...

Touchdown!! Back in the 305. Heard its been poppin down here. Whassup Mi-Jammy!?

Anyone think he might come back for the vet min? If he would, I'd absolutely love him here at that price. We'd be amazingly deep at the wings. A rotation of Wade/Bron/Miller/Q is almost too good to be true.

Fisher won games because he was with great players - that's all. He's nothing special. I'm sure the compelling offer was

play with the big three and win a couple more rings - that'll be more than Kobe.

Personally hope he doesn't sign. not needed

Paying anything more than minimum is a waste of money especially for Fisher.

Fisher is a crappy pg. I'd only get him to screw with the Lakers morale.

It seems like it's either Haslem OR Fisher, right?

According to the NY Times, after the Miller signing, we have 4 million in cap space this season.

That's not enough for Haslem and Fisher, if both agree. How can we swing this?

Haslem just for the Miami factor and we love the guy, i'm sure he'd play for the minimum though no?

I'd rather have Haslem. We already have Chalmers, who is younger and much cheaper who can hit the open 3 and has proven to be clutch at times, was the 2nd leading scorer after Wade in the playoffs.

With Haslem, we have another big body that can rebound off the bench and provide toughness and leadership with buckets in the clutch.

Plus Fisher isn't worth that money.

If its Haslem OR Fisher, **** that, give me Udonis, who is the far better player at this point in time and fills the far greater need (added toughness and an extra big even if undersized).

Nothing greater than the vet min for Fisher, please. But I trust Riley, he knows what he's doing. I'm sure he's already explained to Derek that we are spending the remainder of the cap on UD and Miller, and that he'll have to take a vet min deal if he wants in.

but if we use the money on fisher and miller and we go over the cap, can't we use the MLE on Haslem? or go over the cap for him since we have bird rights?

I rather have UD too. Fisher is so **** overrated and he's old as hell. Not sure what he can do better than Chalmers at this point, except hitting big shots which isn't necessary. Wade, Lebron and Bosh have hit big shots in their career too. Hell Chalmers has as well (though some would say it was a lucky shot).

He doesn't add anything but the 'been there got the t shirt' factor. Mike Miller is going to do what Fisher likes to do - hit the 3's. And as for steals well i think we've had the guy who does it best for oooo i dunno 7 years

We will have the MLE next year, but not this year since we weren't over the cap.

I think you guys are underrating Fisher's importance. He would be a huge locker room presence, especially in case there is any drama. Having someone who has been there and is a wise paternal veteran could be huge. It seems like the Heat, including the Superfriends, really wants him there. Plus he is clutch as heck.

With that said, I want Haslem AND Fisher. I hope it canbe done, I haven't heard any articles or reports on what Fisher could mean for Haslem's future.

That was my point, he adds experience and that's it so surely that's only worth the vet min. But Haslem offers you physical presence at center which is invaluable since we don't have one right now.

As for Mr Cluth? Well we have 3 of the best in the league for that plus a near 50% shooter in Miller if it comes down to hitting the big shot so Fisher is not really required i that sense.

I don't know if this has really been addressed yet but for you guys who watch games, anyone notice Q's sick post game? i swear there were a couple games where we would go to him 3 straight possession and he would pull a strong quick spin for an easy 2, we didn't even go that as much as we could have. basically bottom line those 4 and if u want to add raja. there is no real weakness in that rotation and they all have a lot more to offer than your average role player wing players imo :o would love to have him back.

Nice timing on Q's return to town, I'd say he's a lock for a vet minimum contract. Wade's going to want his buddy around.

I wouldn't mind poaching Fish from LA, but certainly not at the expense of Miller and Haslem. Those two have to be priorities 1 and 2 IMO

That's all I'm saying.

Although to be honest, I could really care less about Fisher (his defense has really slipped these last couple years).
