If anyone is wondering, Lowry and a 1st for Rozier is a legal trade in this new CBA, if that's a little rich for you, expand it a bit and make them take D.Smith and/or possibly Bryant and get a useful cheap player back while staying comfortably away from the 2nd apron.

Lmao!!! We’re going on like 4-5 years of the Harden/Herro talks no one wanted to do and he’s still the better player

If we'd gotten him, how long do you think he'd have stayed? I would guess that within the first month Jimmy would have wanted him gone, Spo wouldn't play him because the BMI would be something he couldn't ignore, and when he did play he'd go a typical Harden 2-30 from the floor in a game 7 and had us out in the first round.

The only place he wouldn't ask to leave would be Tootsie's...

Jimmy wanted him and gave the blessing for the trade, they’re boys. He single handedly beat the Celtics twice last playoffs, that’s more than Herro has done in his entire playoff career. To top it off Hardens skillset is exactly what we’ve been missing

First, it's not more than Tyler Herro has done (his rookie run is far more impressive than Harden coming away another series) and please, learn from history. Harden is who he is. A rolling stone gathers no moss. This guy isn't staying anywhere. He's become a cancer everywhere he's gone. I don't care if Jimmy approved the deal, Harden would obliterate this team from the inside, out.

The basically have to make follow up trades by the start of next season for financial reasons. I wouldn't doubt if this was a 3+ team trade or a 2nd trade is being worked on before moving Lowry for a player who isn't expiring.

Someone mentioned in the thread that they had been noticing a weird tension between JJJ and Lowry. At times Lowry would refuse to pass him the ball. Something else must have gone on behind the scenes. Maybe Lowry trying to big time the rook

The only follow up I could see is Duncan Robinson going out for an expiring contract. Bojan Bogdonvic is the one that really comes to mind.
