When Lebron and Bosh were hurt noone was blaming Spoelstra for the losses, but to be fair, even when the Heat win we still criticize Spoelstra. We just don't like the guy's system.

I'm going to stop criticizing Spoelstra for one minute and commend the guy for doing one thing right:

When Wade was yelling at Miller for not getting open after Wade was double teamed and the Heat turned the ball over, Spoelstra at the time out calmed Wade down and told him to trust his team. It worked at motivating the Heat, as they played more together after that.

Yeah I give credit where credit is due and that was good coaching. Other than that, telling the media that some players in the locker room was crying is "you're fired" material.

The sad part is that was still one of our best end-game plays all season.

Yeah I'm a die-hard Heat fan, but am open-minded to other great teams.

What gets me about the crying thing is, I can't remember Spo ever putting any of the struggles on himself. Oh sure, he's paid vague lip service to being part of the process along with the guys, but for someone who's never come out furious about a loss or taken responsibility for his specific shortcomings, he's now talking about some of our guys crying behind closed doors (my guess is some of the vets, and maybe Rio). I'm sure he meant well, but can it be more clear this guy isn't cut out to lead this team?

Well, that sucked. This is quite a low for the Heat organization. People like to draw comparisons to the '06 team with the losses to quality teams, but I don't see it. That was an old team coming off an ECF battle. They really didn't have much to prove and were saving it for the playoffs. Very different situation with this team. This failure begins at the top with Spo. He's accomplished nothing. He's a failure and a bull **** artist who's where he is by stroking Pat's ego. I find it ludicrous that people are now trying to explain some sort of lack of talent on this team. We have more than enough talent not to get swept by the **** bulls and celtics.

I've never been a fan of Spo, but I didn't hate him because I just felt he was placed in a situation he was unready for. I have grown to **** hate him. He's soured my milkshake. Violated St Pat's miracle team. Ruined one of the best things to ever happen to one of my teams. He's made us a laughing stock. Some people like to try to play coach and are only satisfied with individual plays that highlight some deficiency when the issue here is the holistic underperformance of this team.

I feel the exact same.

He has so much talent to work with and this is what our team has become.

Spo has to go, everyone will hate us for it, but it has to be done.

Spoelstra is not ready for this job, we need to go in a different direction but im afraid its already too late, season is almost over, would Riley pull the plug now. Especially after all the crap he got for Stan Van Gundy.

What do people think about giving Marc Jackson a chance. He might not be the best announcer but he is smart and knows basketball.

Perfect option would be Doc Rivers but dont know if that will happen.

He hasn't taken responsibility for his mistakes ever since he became a coach.

Spoelstra doesn't take responsibility cuz he doesn't see his mistakes. Bottom line. That played against the Magic where D-Wade couldn't get open? SVG knew Spo was gonna try to go inside the corner and he took it away. Spoelstra's failed to account for this and the Heat couldn't compensate. It was a bad call, but he doesn't realize it was. If he did, he would have called himself out on it.

And that's the problem. He still thinks that "system" is working out fine when in reality is causing us to be the laughing stock of the league.

I was just wondering if anyone remembers any instance where Spoelstra said "this loss is on me" ?!?
Anyone ?

Its time Pat Riley your master plan has blown right up before your very eyes. This is actually becomming a joke around the league.

I dont know who is performing worse Wade or Lebron, I would probably give the edge to Wade based on our most recent failure (Chicago)

Wondering if we will win again this year. Sure we might win a first round series but thats it. I have to think right now we are the #6 team in the east. NY got better Atlanta got better and we just keep going backwards.

1. Boston
2.Chicago
3.Orlando
4. Atlanta
5. New York
6. Miami

I say fire Spoelstra. You guys have too much talent to be struggling like this. A coach like D'antoni, Carlise, Pop, or even a Sam Mitchell would be better than Spoelstra. I just feel like the players don't believe in Spoelstra or they don't follow the plays. Any of the above mentioned coaches hold their players accountable, i don't believe Spoelstra does. I hate his sub patterns too.

Not D'Antoni but I'd take Pop over Spo.. Who wouldn't. I don't even think Pat would think for a second if Pop called him up and asked if he could coach us.

He believes his system is perfect and that there are no significant flaws in it. What is his system anyways?

Better or worse than "got any ideas"?
