He hasn't even signed with the Pacers, and people are acting like scared little *****es, and all over an injury prone loser who's lone interest is in money. The funny thing about that is, Miami still has their full mmle.

My guess, like everyone else's; He and his agent are trying outmaneuver Riley into giving more than just the vet min. We know that's one game Riley never loses, so we'll see what happens. Don't be shocked if Bynum is actually here in the coming days...

Andrew Bynum

Post#1145 » by puppa bear » Sat Feb 1, 2014 2:10 pm

I read somewhere that all the moves they've made there's been a consensus about - between Riley, Spo, Elisburg & someone else (can't remember who). But there wasn't a consensus on Bynum, and that's why they balked.

Edit: it's Micky & Chet Kammerer.

"When it comes to the draft or free agency, or acquiring players via trade, anything that has to do with personnel, it's myself and Erik and Andy Elisburg and [scout] Chet Kammerer and Micky Arison," Riley said. "If there isn't a consensus, and there's somebody that I really want, then I will probably get to make that decision. But I don't think we've ever done anything here where we didn't all agree it was the best move."

It's a lie. I think it's all smoke and mirrors by Bynum's Agent to scare Miami into accepting Bynum's contract demands.

"My client is going to Indiana" is just another way of "Hey Pat, we want you to give us more money, or ELSE!"

Do you really think Bynum wants to go sit on the bench in Indiana? They have a starting C. Miami, the defending champs, do not have a starting C.

Which would you rather play for.

1) The defending champions, in sunny and fun city of Miami, who have no starting Center.

or

2) The city of Indiana, who have been bounced by Miami twice already, and already have a starting Center in Hibbert.

It's obvious this is a desperation scare tactic by Bynum's camp to get more $$ from Miami.

well its not because the pacers site as well as the official pacers twitter plus woj reporting this is the case, and Indiana will sign him to a bi polar exception they have... we dont want him bad enough for the price he is looking for and thats the end of story

Lol some ppl in denial. At least that's the end of that. No doubt pacers will be a handful on the boards, more than they were before.

Now that he might b motivated I wonder how it will affect their offensive struggles

yeah we will wait and see how he plays but i think the pacers are looking from this angle " hey Miami has a problem with size down in the paint - lets sign another 7 footer maybe this will put us over them " just another concern for us. i am going to remember this date just in case LOL

Lets lock it up.

It was always a farfetched proposition that this guy would be a match. But our willingness to sign beasley left a bit of an open door at the possibility. Hope he creates a disturbance over in Indiana :)

i think our problem is that we are getting too comfortable with our roster, we are in february and you can argue we have oly 2 players that are showing on regular basis, we look tired, slow, washed up or whatever you wanna call it and thats what is having me nervous.

1 is to take Bynum from signing with us and the 2nd being a backup for Hibbert when he gets into foul trouble early.

The only time that we get LBJ attacking the rim..

we're done

and i'm getting a dog

excellent move by indiana. renders our oden acquisition moot. they get bigger and stronger and meaner deeper.

all on pat riley now. no chance in hell lbj can carry this team to the finals as constituted

i'm trying to figure out what our strategy against indy will be now

3 point shooting? because we suck at that now.
wade turning back the hands of time. good luck
we can't compete in the frontline at all now
we don't have the horses to play vintage Heat D

lebron carrying the team? he sucks against hibbert

if bynum is even the slightest bit serviceable we're in real trouble

HUGE power move by larry bird
chemistry is for suckers

the strategy is always the same against the pacers. hoping Lebron goes GOD mode and that is enought to get past Indiana
