Looks like Philly based on those picks. They might not mind giving up an SRP if it gets them a guy at #20 that they otherwise would miss out on.

Going to be a wild draft night. So pumped.

Knicks seem like interesting trade partners. Pick 27 and 38 to move up to 20 works for me.

Carey and Nnaji should be there at 27. 38 allows us to take best guard. Quickley in that spot would be ideal.

Just pick the BPA at 20#, don't try to get cute.

It's not like we're desperate for depth, we don't need another rookie. Bring 1 guy but bring the best guy available to us.

I have a feeling this free agency isn't going to be very exiting for us, So I really hope we just pick at #20, get another surprising gem to overperform like Bam and Herro have done and give us a new young talent to get excited about.

If we're not contending I want to see the best young guy we can add on the court next year.

I don't want to move him for a Derozen type player, and I don't want to trade down in the draft for un-needed bench depth.

We've drafted amazingly lately so just keep it going, don't overthink it.

I wouldn't say bench depth is unneeded, Jones Jr. and Crowder are most likely gone this offseason and Dragic is 34. I don't think we'd trade down to draft a worst prospect than we originally would have if we kept the pick. We could be targetting Carey Jr. or Nnaji and both of them should be available at 27. Second round pick would be a bonus.

Knicks could want RJ or Maxey.

I think the 1st round pick will come down to Carey and Nnaji

With the contingency of picking up Gallinari. At all times Galli or Bam will be on the court. Carey or Nnaji will get minutes playing with Gallinari.

Four more unidentified prospects?

Actually, I'd say three. Jalen Smith would be fairly obvious as a workout.

The Heat are looking to get out of the 1st rnd, and trade it for a future 1st & a 2nd rnd for tomorrow because
by doing so, Miami can sign a free agent like Gallinari for multi-yr without compromising the cap space for 2021.
FA like Gallinari will not sign for one season only.

I believe that is the primary reason than acquiring a 2nd pick.

That wouldn't make sense since Carey wasn't a good defender in college.

Carey is a paint protector right now, better than KO and ML. My concerns defensively are when he has to defend the perimeter on switches. Can he run off to the 3pt line? There questions about him being too passive at times, even running back on defense... Not everyone is Bam but he can be coached for sure.

He is a bit slow

Dam if Galinari is our move to counter brooklyn phily lakers, not looking too good. We cannot play Duncan and Galinari together, even worse if Carrey is our picks, we will get worse defensively...

Carey playing with Galinari, would be very bad defense, specially if any og Dunacan, Harro, Dragic is in the linup, we would be going away from our identity. Defense win champioships, member that

Who do you expect with the Heats MLE?
As for a trade, its not worth to give assets for one season rental

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

We worked him our right? So that’s something I guess. I’m anxious to see if we keep the pick
