Bosh > Bam but it’s close enough I can understand the sentiment. I love me some Bam but he’s a second fiddle peak. Bosh is more 1A/B and we were robbed of seeing him in that role because of his injury.

We’re seriously unlucky with career ending injuries. Zo, Bosh, Brian Grant, Dru Smith….

Surprisingly, Kuminga is actually a better rebounder than Wiggins based on the stats, though his 3pt shooting is still a bit questionable. That said, a change of scenery might motivate him and bring out more consistency. He could be a better fit at PF here. As long as we get the Warriors 2028 pick, I’m good with this.

Kuminga is the Tyler Herro of forwards.
He can score a lot but does not contribute to wins because he has not basketball IQ, he does not play defense and he has tunel vision.

He can be a 25ppg player for a bad team.

He has offensive (scoring) talent for sure.

Kerr does not like him and he can play better for a different coach.

Personally I like the idea of Wiggins to the Warriors without Kuminga.
Kuminga took a lot of shots from Wiggins the previous years.

Wiggins can be the second option for Warriors if the trade happens.

My honest opinion is that Miami should keep Wiggins and trade for Antetokounmpo.

2028 1st pick is the real prize here. That can be a good pick with how the Warriors looking now.

He can walk after this season. The Heat need him to opt in or be open to an extension with the new club. Imo, 2 month of wiggins isnt getting you a first. Maybe a swap?

Other issue is, if they do manage to get giannis, theyd almost be stuck in the gsw situation: they need to find another wiggins. He has demand because this archtype is not often available. Good ones at least.

Wiggs, bam, and giannis is a championship Frontline. But that might be just me.

Warriors are desperate as hell, they'll give up that pick for sure, you also letting go a disgrunted player. They will be confident Wiggs will resgin, he loves it there.

I think this is all steph. He loves Wiggins.

If the heat are in a holding pattern? Sure starting trading away players.

But giannis isn't dumb. He wants to win now (and get paid). Bucks been linked to wiggins for like the past 4 years which means giannis has had input. I think he strongly wants a kd type relocation, a ready built team. And that includes wiggins.

Love Bosh but he’s not the first option on a team winning anything significant, he’s a 2nd but more likely 3rd as we saw here. I do think in the right situation he could be 2nd. Hes a more fluid scorer than Bam but it didn’t lead to much of a difference efficiency wise

Horst isn’t going to accept a weak package from Riley. The 2028 GS pick is huge, Miami could have up to five picks to dangle in a Giannis trade this offseason, and they can also flip Herro to a third team if needed.

Given the opportunity, Larsson could slide in as the starting SF alongside Bam and Giannis.

Having Wiggins with Giannis is big for sure, but that additional pick will boost Miami's chance for a Giannis trade.

If Miami misses out on Giannis, the 2028 GS pick is still massive. That could line up with Curry’s retirement, and the Warriors might not be very good by then.

I’d move Wiggins now while his value is still high.

Imagine having Wiggins. And saying, no we need to be better. And then you send a first and wiggins for Jimmy. And now Jimmy is hurt, and yall think warriors are gonna be, ok all we need is to get wiggins back for a frp.
They'd literally have given us two frps to be with the same team that they knew wasnt good enough last year and certainly wont be this year. Come on. Maybe but I dont see it.

Exactly which is why I don't see the warriors giving up a pick unless its a swap or heavily protected pick. FYI, he's not getting you an unprotected pick.

No idea why people think he would.

That’s how brutal the Jimmy injury has been, and now they’re desperate to maximize Steph’s remaining window. There’s no chance they get Wiggins back without including their pick, we’d essentially be taking on a disgruntled player while giving up a reliable 3D guy.

The Lakers are also reportedly willing to trade their pick, which creates a bidding war, especially with Wiggins being the only proven 3D player currently available on the market.

That's one of my points though. If you are going all in on giannis, why cut corners?

Im not seeing a davion, powell, pelle, giannis, and bam team scaring anyone. Unless pelle magically becomes a 40% volume shooter. If not, you are stuck looking for a Wiggins type the following off season with only jovic as trade bait.

Also not seeing the Bucks seeing Heat package attracted enough, need boatload of picks to make that happen. Wiggins and Powell at this point can maybe provide that. Something has to give.

All Wiggins fan players should be happy imo. this Heat team sucks period. Maybe a reunion with Steph may get you to 2nd round.

And 1 extra protected gsw pick doesnt change that. If horst doesn't like herro or ware. Deal is dead already.

But right now, before the deadline? I think the heat have one of the best competitive packages. Its next season and onward that the problems arise. Heat are D.O.A. at that point for giannis.

I think mwp had a pretty good lay out for a giannis trade.

I’m all in on a revamp. Trade Powell and Wiggins for picks and start resetting. I don’t really care if the Heat miss out on Giannis, the priority is finding that draft gem.

Stein proposed Kuminga/Hield/1st for Wiggins. I'd keep the pick and route those guys to other teams.

In fact, Kuminga, Buddy, Ware, Rozier's expiring and 3 1sts becomes the Giannis package. Throw in Niko for Portis for good measure.

I don't particularly care for Kuminga, but unless Miami has some intention of (potentially) keeping Wiggins long-term, that's a good offer for Wiggins. It really comes down to how the franchise feels about Kuminga and/or their ability to re-route those guys, namely for Giannis. My guess is Miami would want a 3rd team taking Hield.

I'd love to see Jovic shipped out. I want to vomit every time I see him in a Heat uniform knowing Miami is on the hook for $62M for a guy that can't outplay Fontecchio.

Reasonable take. If that's the path, I'd trade bam and wiggins. They will get you the most assets. I don't think powell has much value. Maybe he gets you a second. Id hold onto herro and maybe even extend him. I think his value is in the gutter. Listened to timpf a few days ago, he'd take kuzma for herro. And someone needs to score until you find the next wade.

I'm just all in on giannis, this heat roster is built for him.

The Wigs deal is interesting with the first included, I'd do it but it also depends what else is going on Roster wise.
