He also said he nor ownership are going with the long process to get the Heat to where they need to be. No teardown and rebuild en route which is not shocking

Riley harping on the fact that we blew 25 double digit leads and needing someone to help sustain those leads and how it could completely turn the season around, we’re pretty like minded. I’d be shocked if I wasn’t in the Heat front office soon

That’s basically what I got out of it too

Said everything but his name pretty much

Also heavily implied making Herro wait until 2026 on an extension, which is the right move as well

Some may call me crazy but I think with Boston having to take a step back if you put KD on Miami we are likely the best team in the East and I’ll stand on that. Bam and Herro aren’t flawed players, they just can’t carry a team. You put KD out there and he can close these games down in the 4th.

This team would have finished the 3 seed this year if it wasn’t for the insane 4th QTR collapses this year.
