Lowkey Bam has been a bit out of sync the past 3 games too. 3 ball hasn't dropped and he hasn't been as efficient. Still a lot more meat on the bones for this team. A lot more upside to unlock.
3 games in 4 nights and he's coming off a foot injury. THe best is yet to come.
I mean they are 6-4 without that lineup since their overall record is 12-6. So what does that really mean? I am not saying Ware isn’t a good player, but I am saying that stat means nothing.

In fairness a 75% winning mark would have made you the third best team last year and 2nd seed in the East, while a 60% winning percentage would have you tenth in the league and on the road in the firdt round as a 5th seed.
Teams they beat when Bam and Ware weren't both starting are a combined 49-58. Teams they lost to were a combined 46-25.
Teams they beat when they were both starting are a combined 43-60. Teams they lost to were a combined 24-9.

No doubt this is a phenomenal organization, but a team that has been a fringe playoff team for several years and has caught some bad breaks on aggressive (and expensive) trades definitely deserved criticism.
Deep playoff runs and this current iteration of a Spolestra offense definitely illustrate why he’s the best coach in the business.
90% of the league would die for the runs like what Heat had the last 6 years. A fringe playoff team or not, they provided a lot of exciting moments for the fans.
Sure, all teams deserve fair criticism. No team is perfect. But what I see from negative Nancys on this board is not criticism but just whining.
Nancys will be Nancys and Karens will be Karens again as soon as we run into some rough patches again, I'm sure of it, lol
Yup, I'm surprised by the 180 turn in the pace this year and Spo has done a great job.
Yes , we have had great runs, but I am sure it wasn't because of spo
It was a group effort, from the top to the bottom, the players... Even the fans and the city ...but I have to admit that luck also played big part of it

Wouldn't be surprised they holdout Jaquez to give Jovic some burn.shanedude wrote:

Edrice jumped from a 6 man tie at 13th and +8000 for DPOY up to 6th best odds at +2000. Let’s keep climbing by making Giannis life hell tonight if he returns

The sample size is too small and there were too many variables. The stat means nothing.

If Spo does that we'll lose the game lol. Niko should be put on ice. Get in the weight room, lock your self in the gym and watch some film and try again next year.

ESPN says the Heat aren't contenders.

I guess they mean metric-wise?
What? This unorthodox style has boosted Miami's scoring -- but only slightly.
Huh?...the Heat are still only an average offensive team...

That Zach Krom guy is an idiot. Our offense is completely different, why bring up the fact that we were 25-21-21 ranked previous years and this year 13th and talk like it's a fluke? Its by design...
Its also just one writer. Espn dropped power rankings today and sent us shooting up to 8th from 15th.
8. Miami Heat
2025-26 record: 12-6
Previous ranking: 15
Next games: vs. MIL (Nov. 26), vs. DET (Nov. 29), vs. LAC (Dec. 1)
The Heat could get even scarier now that Tyler Herro is back. With Norman Powell out with a groin injury, Herro scored 24 points in 29 minutes, making 12 of 18 shots to go with seven rebounds and three steals. He didn't have any assists after averaging 5.5 a season ago. Of course, Herro and the Heat will need time to adapt to the new free-flowing offense. But for Miami to add its best player before December is a terrific boost for a team that has won five straight and eight of the past 10 games. -- Ohm Youngmisuk
That Detroit game long term means little but in the short term for respect and recognition, is a pretty big game. Every writer is riding their d y c k even tho they've played a ton of easy games. And not many believe in us. We beat them and stop that win streak of theirs and we change that narrative real quick.

Top 100 just dropped.
Bam dropped from 26 to 30. Odd since hes now hitting 3's. But there was alot of young studs moving up which pushed him down like Lauri Maxey Jalen Johnson. I don't love it but its whatever. Ive always seen this as more of a tiered thing. The difference between 25 to 30 in a deep nba is not much.
Norm Powell from 66 to 46. Seems about right.
Herro 52 to 54. Hes been hurt so cant really complain much.
JJJ back on the list after making it as rookie and falling off the list last year at 84 and Wiggins back on list also at 93
