Warriors get Wiggins

Nets get Kuminga and Rozier

And in OKC!

I'll just add:

If Denver beats Milwaukee without Murray, Jokic, Braun, C Johnson, Valanciunis, or Watson....Giannis won't be getting on the plane back to Milwaukee  (Denver is currently winning 62-55 with 6' to go in the 3rd)

I think Gordon went down too. Their bench is holding it down so far haha

Hes a poison pill.

4 mill outgoing for the heat, but its 16M incoming for the lakers because he just extended off that rookie deal. Something like that. Heat are stuck with jovic for this year.

Bucks are cooked. If giannis stays in Milwaukee, he deserves everything that comes with losing.

Bucks went on a wild run like 24-6. Nuggets went cold but I mean it wss there 7-13 rotation guys. I think their entire starting lineup and then some, was out.
Giannis hurt his calf again with a minute left and walked off the court... instead of watching the rest of the game. But then Rollins hit a three and crowed roared so he came back. And then nuggets still won 102x100.
Rough.
Idk, im sure hes feeling all sorts of things but giannis looks super mid out there lately. :-?

Dude this size and athletic. Nursing a calf sprain and now another one. Just giving me achilles vibes. Scary.

At home vs the Jokic Murray Watson Gordon Braun and Johnson less (literally their whole starting lineup was out outside of 1 half from Gordon) Nuggets and you still lose. Giannis is completely checked out. Stop delaying the inevitable, ASK OUT

Yup, that's a concern for sure. Giannis doesn't get me as excited without a second superstar to take full advantage of his 3 to 4 year window (if healthy). We are talking about a 31 year old without a jump shot who has relied on pure strength and athleticism to dominate. A dominant Shak at 34 it was apparent that his wheels where already starting to fall off, Wade carried him to his last title. The window with Giannis could be small and what do we need to give up, an arm and 2 legs? Sorry but pairing him with just Bam won't cut it, we need a perimeter superstar as well to make this worth it.

Bosh > Bam but it’s close enough I can understand the sentiment. I love me some Bam but he’s a second fiddle peak. Bosh is more 1A/B and we were robbed of seeing him in that role because of his injury.

We’re seriously unlucky with career ending injuries. Zo, Bosh, Brian Grant, Dru Smith….

Lol, you added Dru Smith there?
Tbf, most teams have had it worse than us. You are only looking at your favorite team n not being objective, but that's the typical fan experience, so I understand.

If Miami were to trade for Giannis I’d sit him the rest of the year. Back to back calf injuries? His size, age, and game…. That’s an Achilles injury waiting to happen.

I don’t see the Heat landing Giannis. But I don’t know anything. So there’s that.

Put it this way.

For him to sign a Super Max extension, he HAS to be traded by THIS trade deadline. He must be with team for at least 6 months before signing super max extension.

He is preferred teams are NY and Miami.

New York has NO picks or young players with high upside…and are going through an identity crisis.

Miami has 2 tradable 1sts which can become 3 if they deal Wiggins to Lakers or other team. If they trade Wiggins to third team and Rozier to Milwaukee, it would save Milwaukee $$$. This would also allow Miami to keep Herro and see what they want to do with him this summer. Not to mention the young blue chips in Ware, Larson, JJJ, Kasparas who provide value and are projected to be even better.

Let’s say it’s Wiggins to third team, Rozier to bucks, Ware to bucks, Kasparas to Bucks and 3 firsts. You still have

Bam Jovic
Giannis
Larson JJJ
Powell
Herro Mitchell

You can also trade Fontechio for someone on a longer deal who fit

Would become a prime destination for buy out players.

Would be a prime free agent destination for ring chasers and mid level deals.

I’m starting to think Miami can be in the drivers seat with a Wiggins move (would love to keep him but he’s the only player who could get you a first to send to Milwaukee)

That lineup sucks without Wiggins though.

Unfortunate news on the Giannis calf, it ensures continued losing for the Bucks though and they won’t likely be in position to make the play in tourney. He’s not a doctor but if his diagnosis is correct and he’s out 4-6 weeks that means it’ll likely be a month after the trade deadline that he returns which means we’d need to dig deep with a gutted roster (I’d assume we’ll still have a piece or 2 coming with Giannis that would be healthy) and get some wins so we aren’t in a bad position when Giannis returns.

That also means assuming it’s the 6 weeks return that we’d only have about a month of games worth of him on the roster which, and maybe this is just in my head, seems like par for the course when we acquire someone. I feel like they can never just instantly make their debut, we always have to wait a week or 2. I know everyone’s soft these days and don’t like to practice anymore but we’d need to get as much practice time in as possible to build up some chemistry and get everyone on the same page. Doesn’t have to be intense practices, they can be light walk throughs, watching film, and getting up some shots, etc. these guys make ridiculous money to play a children’s game, they don’t need days off at that point of the season, they’re off 4-6 months a year as it is.

His injury luck this year has sucked but he’s a top 3 player in the world, idc if he has to sit out the entire season, get him on the roster and everything else will work itself out. Vets will be dying to come to Miami this summer and in the buyout market and Wiggins/Powell will want to stay on potentially solid deals for us.
