By the looks of it, I just hope Pat Riley is no Danny Ferry.

Why is Wade playing so bad against these guys? He was **** on them in the playoffs. I don't get it.

Wade is an embarrassment, but he isn't going to get any hate from anyone since he stayed with his team.(Talking about the media)

That is optimistic and I guess the Heat should eventually get it going...Eventually...Maybe 20 games later or next season
But, until then the Heat are overrated and have not earned the right to be categorized with the top teams in the league just for having talent. They haven't proven anything and have actually gone on to prove that all the hype was wrong and extremely premature. We need to keep expectations extremely low now, since we are just a play off team (barely) at this point.

Re: Boston-Miami/TNT/8PM
I am VERY upset about this game, but
there's a good argument that the celtics are the best team in the league right now. incredible lineup, incredible defense, highly effective offense. they are filled with anti-heat players, not just pierce and allen, but nate, big baby and marquis daniels too. they are strong in the areas miami is weak. and they have been together for 3+ years and have by far the best chemistry in the league.
to lose by 5 after playing with almost no passion isn't that troubling. i'm more troubled by the loss to the jazz. and i'm more troubled by the lack of passion.

Re: Boston-Miami/TNT/8PM
If we start Arroyo against a top-tier PG again, I'm gonna lose it. We fell behind by 12 before Spo pulled him. He never played again the first half, but then Spo starts him in the second half? Why? Did he do something amazing in his time on the bench that told you he should be back out there in the 3rd? Then he gets the hook again and never comes back.
Spo spent most of the 2nd quarter dicking around with different starting rotations. I swear that's what he was doing. House or Jones needs to start ahead of Arroyo. Joel can stay, but against larger opponents, Z should be in there for rebounding presence. Hell...if Z can play more minutes, give them to him. Just work with him on those damn moving picks. PEACE.

I'm annoyed by a lot of problems on our team, but this is definitely part of it.
We just choked to the Jazz on our homecourt, and then follow up with a crappy encore performance against a team we very well may face down the line. Not only do you want to try and send a message, it also matters for the standings in case we tie them at the end.
We had no motivation tonight, and a big part of that goes on our coaching staff IMO.

At some point these excuses about how the Heat don't have chemistry to try and explain why they have look dysfunctional on offense while seeming to get worse on the defensive end with each passing game needs to stop. The Celtics despite not having any chemistry during their first season together got off to a 29-3 start.
Maybe the Heat plan on repeating their 06 performance where they got off to an 11-10 start, went 2-12 against squads with winning records, but just started clicking in time for the play offs while facing the Bulls and went on to win the championship.
Either way the Heat team is just turrible right now and deserve to be laughed at and jeered.

Spo's word o' the day for the pregame strategy board was "edge." Does anyone want to take a guess at what that's supposed to mean?
