I'm sure some fans will resort to that. The only way Riles is forced to trade Hassan is if he strongly demands the money we aren't be willing to give him.

As i've stated numerous times i don't see him going anywhere. I think Riles will be able to offer him something everybody will be happy with. I'm quite confident of that! This max talk has been quite ridiculous actually.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

The max talk is not ridiculous at all. That is how much he will cost. Sorry but he's young, he's 7 feet tall, rebounds, scores, and blocks shots. When has that ever not netted a max offer? Especially with as many teams that will have cap space next summer.

I really doubt he'll be with the team next year. You just hope we can get enough out of him this year to make a deep enough run in the playoffs to attract free agents.

When fully engaged and energized, he makes all the fit issues irrelevant.

I liked his quote about needing to prove his worth. That's the mentality he needs.

When he gets too comfortable he gets in trouble.

This can also simply be an energy thing. He might have trouble keeping the energy level up for 30+ minutes, but in limited he can go 110% and that's when he's truly devastating.

Also the passing last night were a joy to watch. Playing faster might actually help his game, not hurt him. More movement means clearer passing lanes, more space to work with.

It's great that we have a lot of games left to work out exactly how we maximize him in the new more flowing offense.

Also I think seeing Amare for a while helped him recognized some little things he can do better with more attention.

His impact was instant yesterday. He walks out onto the court and opposing teams literally change the way they play.

Everyone on the Mavs was terrified of him.

We kept saying it even before the players started to get quoted about it, because it's true and clear to see : It's all about his mind.

When hungry, responsive, energetic, team-oriented, listening, focused - he'll beast and be a max player. You can't teach his gifts.

He's with the prefect organization to get his head right. It's on him. Early in his career his mind cost him a lot. He needs to show he learned the lesson. Growing up time is now.

We still have a problem. How come we are still not at our best with Hassan on the floor. That's a problem to me. Do the starters not like playing with him? Puzzling why we are not crushing teams with the talent we have.

Did you think we were better last night without Hassan? That's a truly unique perspective.

By the way, the reason that we are not "crushing teams with the talent we have" is that other teams are also mostly good and trying to win. That's one puzzle solved!

Lol what makes the Heat the "perfect organization" for Hassan to get his head right?

I wouldn't call it perfect because I don't believe there is such a thing but this is where he has experienced most of his success so I would at least call it a "good organization" for him.

1. We were better with last night.

2. When we aren't, its due to either :

A) His head isn't right. He's not engaged/worries about offensive touches/about fouls/pouts/lazy/forces.

B) Lack of shooting around him. Not his fault. When You have a slowish 7 footer clogging the paint lie every old-school Center does, you have to have shooting around him. When Deng/Justise/Green/Dragon bricking outside shots, our offense struggle. It's un-balanced lineups.

Are you familiar with the concepts of a winning organization/culture/veteran presence?

Those make us a great org for him.

Oh, and we found him in him trash and developed him till now, the only place he saw success in his career.

Is that enough?

Outside of the complete dumpster fire franchises, Hassan would have done what he's done here almost anywhere else he could get PT. He only really got PT when we were pretty much forced to give it to him due to injuries and even then, it took awhile.

We haven't developed him at all. He developed himself overseas then showed up on our doorstep last year with the exact skillset he has now. He was arguably better last year, so I'm not too impressed by our "development."

Do you really believe a player like him will do as well in an organizations like the Hornets/current Lakers/Knicks/a ton of other worse run teams? I would think a Heat fan would be more aware of the importance of culture and leadership. He could of easily went off the rails in some more selfish teams without guys like Zo/Howard/Wade/Pat around him holding his hand.

Luckily it seems he's more appreciative then you towards the Heat, saving his career probably helped.

:-?

All that work the team put with him since he got to Miami obviously was for nothing....

Like I said, yeah. Again, not including the franchises that are complete jokes at this point (Lakers, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Milwaukee, et al.) I think you're buying into the Heat propaganda far more than I am.

We gave him a chance, that was the biggest way we helped him. Everything else has been all him. You're free to believe all the #HeatLifer nonsense and what not, I just don't.

The cultural strength of the organization has clearly helped when it comes to things like letting LeBron's posse into the front office decision-making process but it seems to me like you're just repeating spoonfed nonsense you hear from guys who work for the Heat organization who have to say things like that.
