We are a backup PG away from a really nice constructed roster.

Maybe Yurt could be our version of Brook Lopez?

The FO is done with being undersized. We’ll see if Spo is too. We need to just stop with this small ball chit.

I'm convinced K.Lowry can have a Chris Paul-esque impact on our team. There are very few point guards in the entire league who have a positive ORtg/DRtg ratio (per 100 possessions) year in and year out. Lowry is one of those guys.

Career ORTG DRTG:
Holiday 106/109
Murray 111/113
Dragic 109/110
Kemba 109/109
Westbrook 108/105
Conley 112/108
Irving 114/109
Dame 118/112
Lowry 115/108
Steph 118/107
CP3 123/105

The year he played with Kawhi he put up averages of 14ppg and 9apg (that's also when Siakam blossomed into an elite 2nd option). I expect similar production alongside Jimmy and Bam.

Omer isn't as strong at this point.

He has nice offensive versatility, needs to get tougher on defense, work on boxing out, hedging.

What is like it that his rebounding numbers have always been great, going back to Gleague/college.

So a good rebounder that can really shot from outside and has great touch inside...that's a good start.

Work on defense every day until first game.

Read on Twitter

a dribble pull up from 12-16 feet could really help his offense, one thing I'm confident about - Duncan will keep trying to ipmrove and grow his game.

Would have been better if he said he wants to get better on D.

He's been doing that too. He said he's been working with the same trainer as Jru Holiday and working on his body to make himself more mobile/stronger on that end of the floor.

Talks about it a bit here at 10:30.

What about Bjelica? 38% 3pt shooter, comes here and doesn't get any run either.

Spo is just a bad coach.

Word was the Sacramento Kings didn't care much for Bjelica either. Hence why they took our crappy offer. We was just a bad fit in the whole sense of the word. A coach should not be forced to play someone who he is not comfortable playing.

Yet he sure was comfortable playing Mike Bibby, Ilgauskas, Dampier, McGruder…

Any coach who requires certain players to fit his coaching style, is a terrible coach.

Good coaches mold their coaching style to fit the players they have, and make it work. They find a way to use the talent on the roster.

You have a lot of bad takes but this is spot on.

So no bird rights? If he’s as good as we hope after two years he will go to the highest bidder.

it takes a good GM to plan everything in advance. Take the Lakers, Lebron and Westbrook all expire at the same year and they have AD in his prime. We are giving Lowry more guaranteed money that Chris Paul, that’s just crazy.

I don't think its as simple as coaching to every players strengths. This is true for your core guys, which I think Spo does a very good job of, but more often then not role players have to fit in around that core. Some players have the skills to adjust to their role and others don't. In no way do I think Spo should have to adjust the way he coaches the team for a guy like Nemanja Bjelica.

We will have his bird rights. Because we signed him at the end of last season that counts as a year on the roster.
