He's not in game shape nor has he been playing against anyone going near game speed. It's quite possible he could play next game with Miami losing this game to try to get him somewhat use to games peed.

Butler and Bam took 42 2pt shots and made 17 of them, not even a point per shot yet took 42 2s. <- that's where Miami lost the game, with both of them spamming 2s you end up taking the 3pt shooters out of the flow of the offense which is highly important for Miami's role-players.

Butler and Bam are defensive first players who developed their offense later in their careers. Butler having these games like this shouldn't be shocking to people. He has to work harder for his points even when he's having those great games. This is why I keep saying they need another scorer next to them to free them up for easier baskets. We don't have an elite one but we have a decent one to do that. Unfortunately he's just currently injured right now.

Yup. And even if he comes back, the problem is that he definitely will not be able to dribble/create, which is what we are missing.

He doesn't need to command double teams if he can make those midrange jumpers at a high clip. Unlike our other shooters, he's the only who can consistently get a midrange pull up jumper when he's ran off the 3 point run. For this game seems like our shooters were neutralized especially in the 1st half. But its a tall ask to expect him to be in rhythm after a long layoff. But its do or die next game. If he can go for a 5- 7 min stretch in 1st half to see what he can offer, then he should try. This might this core's best chance at a chip so if he can he gotta give it a shot

I really don't think this is on Herro. If the team doctors clear him to play, then he'll play. If not, then he won't.
