I've seen this movie before. NOTHING has changed in the last year.

People are getting their hopes up based on hope and prayer clickbait.

We are STILL in the same situation:

"IF washington decides to rebuild..."

"IF Beal asks out...."

Things are different for Beal, he got his supermax, he put in the 1 year he couldn't be traded after signing that supermax and a new FO that may want to rebuild. It's a different situation he has nothing to gain staying in Washington except for just being a one franchise player which I'm not sure is wanted when you're not having success at this point.

Thats true......just pointing out how hypothetical everything still is.

"right now there does not appear a clear pathway for the two sides." is a hilarious way to punctuate that tweet. "They have interest but there's really no way they can make a deal work"

If he really was interested in Sacramento they could pretty easily put together a package of picks, rookie contracts, and vets to make the math work

They are an up and coming team, they are located in a good location. The media is chill and Beal and his family can enjoy it there. They can easily be a sleeper team that gets him.

They would have to trade their entire contracted roster besides Fox, Sabonis, Kessler Edwards and PJ Dozier to match the salary. Then they would need to fill out their roster with free agent acquisitions.

Technically they can, but it'd be a weird roster with no defense (unless they get all of the 3&D role players on the market).

I'm a major believer that any team tied to Domantas Sabonis as a foundational piece is a regular season tiger and playoff fodder.

Sacramento is the opposite of a good location btw.

The only player yall should be going this crazy for is Dame.

Beal is an easy pass for me. Our assets and cap can be utilized much better than a player like him.

So you’d rather have Lowry and Duncan, got it.

Beal should be vastly cheaper in assets than Beal so you can keep adding to the top 3 players, this is why. If it were just who is better sure, go with Dame, but it's more than just that.

Don't need any big news coming out tonight while I deal with the weather.

I’m still Dame over everything but I think fans are just excited to add an all star 3 level scorer which is exactly what we were missing in the finals over anything else.

Then you take Herro and/or picks, whichever isn’t needed for the Beal trade, and get some high level role players in there.

You swap Herro Lowry Duncan Dipo and 1 of max/Gabe for Beal turner buddy Pat Bev and JRich or something and that’s a far superior roster than last year

Dame
Beal
Lavine

Thats how I have them ranked. Dame is the ideal player but if we cant get him Beal is not bad. Between Beal and Lavine all things being considered I go with Beal. Remember Lavine is a part of Klutch.

To make salaries work best they could do is Malik Monk, Kevin Huerter, Richard Holmes, Davion Mitchell - 42.7mil

I highly doubt Sac would be considering including Domantas Sabonis or Keegan Murray.

I feel like that package pretty average even with Murray in place of Mitchell. Monk an expiring. So you basically getting Murray and Heurter for Beal now if they include multiple picks then its different. But ultimately this all comes down to whether Beal agrees or not.

It's the usual here, it's why I won't put solar panels on the house although I have them in the back yard but they're mobile for times like this. At least we don't get your hurricanes... well we kinda do but not as bad as the coast people get them.

I didnt know the hail got that bad. Try to stay home and safe. At least with Hurricanes we get preparation time, yeah they suck and are devastating forces of nature but you honestly cant get surprised by a hurricane, you know its coming days in advance.

Do you also get tornados in that part of the country? Just try to stay safe, if you have good internet stream a move and call it night.

The way I see it our offers for Beal should look something like this at this point

Herro, Robinson for Beal
Herro, Robinson and Oladipo for Beal and Wright

Lowry, Robinson and FRP for Beal
Lowry, Robinson and Oladipo and FRP for Beal and Morris

Or if they want to go crazy
Herro, Robinson, Lowry, Oladipo and FRP for Beal and Porzingis.

Doesn’t Oladipo have a no trade clause

Dame watch: If Hornets draft Scoot or trade #2 for Zion (Pelicans want Scoot), then less trade partners for Portland? I believe people see Scoot as the shinier prospect over Miller. More likely for Dame to move
