i loved our team after bron left with the emergence of Whiteside and Bosh but his health derailed that team. i feel like this will be the 2.0 version of that squad hopefully with better health and no pressure on those guys since title or bust wont be the expectation of them. i really enjoyed that game last night and i think that gave the fans their joy back :lol:

I'm not going to immediately buy that the Heat's asking price for Jimmy is drastically down. A lot of reporters are saying it now, but truly all that talk started from Windhorst, and he's a notorious Heat hater. He'd love nothing more than for us to get a horrible deal for a star that sent us to the finals twice and would be the clear best player in any deal we do. He planted that seed on purpose.

One thing we all know about Riley is that he has an ego as big as any player's. With everybody tuned in and watching this, he's not about to let us take crumbs for Jimmy. I think he'd sooner shelve him for the rest of the season if no teams are willing to give a fair or above price.

Certain posters have a real hate and jealousy specifically towards the players/athletes.

You think it's about money, but the owners have 10x more and they don't hate them. Next you think its about being a fan of the team, but then you hear them cheering on owners/management "sticking it to" the players when they speak up for themselves, which has zero to do with the team (we should just be focusing on getting the best deal, period). So its not that either.

I wonder what the difference is traditionally between the two groups that could be driving the animosity..
