Re: Fire Spoelstra
Our players are lost on offense. It's all isolation with Spo putting faith in the players to make a play. We barely get any easy baskets and it tires our players out.

Yep. My thoughts exactly.

In organizational theory, there are four types of managers. Spoelstra is similar to the task oriented type of manager in that he sees the game in terms of numbers. That's what he did as a video assistant and that's what he does to prepare for games. Problem is, basketball is more than just numbers. It's about the players having faith in you. I think this is something that Spoelstra lacks in. He does not do a good or even decent job motivating his players and that's why we have been complaining about our team's play for the past 2 seasons. Yes they are professional basketball players, but everyone could use more confidence. With the exception of captain confidence of course.

If you hear the term "adjustments" what do you think it means....well, it basically means the opposite of whatever the hell Spo was doing during Jazz's run.
Jerry Sloan used the clock to perfection, that's what give the Jazz player to do what they did. Because they know exactly what to do, just hit a 3...these guys are all very good, when u let them think like that, they deliver most time than not, that's why "clutchness" is a very overrated term on an individual basis, its the coach that's setting the short term goal.
Spo is bad period, he offered zero defensive impact on the clock to disrupt the flow, and zero offensive direction in OT. OT tells you a lot about a system, and the HEAT has none whatsoever.
Erik Spoesltra, as far as i am concerned, is not better than Mike Brown. He either needs to start taking out Joel Anthony completely away from the rotation and use pittman or sign someone with size that they can close a game with. They have no chance against the Lakers or Boston, not trying to defend the paint or score with a undersize 6'7 haslem acting as center and a bosh who is a perimeter PF. sorry it wont work.
I am talking about a 4-1 series.

I love how Jerry Sloan used his timeouts especially in last minute of the 4th Quarter, executing the right plays.
Now that's something very much respectable from a veteran coach, not giving the game up

Y'all are just mad because y'all don't got swagger like Lebron has. It is a scientific fact that Bron's swagger has the power to transform an otherwise level-headed adult male into a jealous woman.

Simply put:
Canes need to fire Randy; and
Heat need to fire Eric.
The sooner the better.
Yea, both coaches have had ample opportunity and continue to fail.

Dolphins need to fire Dan Henning as well. And I'm not beneath putting Sparano on the hot seat, 5 straight home losses, smh.

This is so troubling...if you put Mike Brown instead of Spo on what you wrote....it would be an exact fitting description as well.
No wonder the 2 guys were close rivals, and had the same career path......this is a little creepy.

If we lost against Boston, which is VERY possible. SPO has to go. We will be what 5-4 with only 1 good win on our credentials.

Can that game arrive a little bit faster, I wanna see results
results of Eric Spo firing that is
Why stick with the same failing system. Go change it.... just like how you change the image of Miami Heat. Riley I hope you get this done ASAP
Told some of you guys
Nothing to be impressed with wins or blowout with mediocre team
Stop criticizing me of not watching these kinds of games (Nets Wolves... and what not), cause they aint benchmarks for the team's road to become a dynasty. I know you understand now

Riley is no dummy. He knows what it takes to win titles. And Chris bosh is not one of them.
He knew bosh was friends with Lebron and Wade, so he needed him to get the 3. Then the team struggles, he fires Spo, and comes back and trades Bosh for a few legit players.
However, i doubt any team will take Bosh contract. He has been one of the more overrated players in NBA history. You can't be on a team that gives up 81 to Kobe, and call yourself a big man.

I guess Dirk is overrated too since his team was outscored by Kobe alone?
But seriously
Spo's turning Bosh to a Beasly, what do you expect.... Remember Bosh wasnt from a DEFENSIVE TEAM, but a jump shooting team... Euros.... chaging his role all of a sudden crippled his talents
Spo must adapt his coaching with accordance to the team's talent, not players adapting to his system... remember he gained 1 superstar and 1 allstar this past offseason. Being Stubborn wont get the team ahead... FIRE HIM ALREADY
BTW... Oh tell me if I'm right or correct me, wasnt there some news/rumors if Spo lost twice in a row I think he would be hitting the road?

Re: Fire Spoelstra
I could see Spo winning with the right PG and center pieces. But to win this year -- I have a feeling we'd be better off with a coach who can motivate these guys to play bigger, stronger, and quicker than they actually are. It'd just make me feel so much better come playoff time.
If Spo actually SHOWED any passion -- if he was barking out plays and manned the sideline with fire, or if we were to see video of him giving a rousing halftime speech, or if he gave thoughtful, original answers to questions instead of platitudes -- I have a feeling our perception of him would be different. Because he's quiet doesn't make him a bad coach, but when you combine that with his being so young and coming from an analytical, non-NBA background.....his body language and generic statements definitely don't inspire confidence, and he has that working against him to the always vigilant fan. Especially after we all got drunk on a true original like Pat Riley.

Re: Fire Spoelstra
I'm not on the fire Spo bandwagon just yet, he can still redeem himself by removing Arroyo and Anthony from the starting lineup, stop using Haslem and Bosh at the same time, and play Stackhouse and Pittman/Magloire.
As far as the losses go, since we are 1-3 against good teams, I'm going to give him a pass on the first game. So for me he has one more strike to go.
