We were able to trade Mark Blount. Let's not underestimate the stupidity of NBA teams.

Mark Blount was only traded for salary as he was expiring, Joel has 2 years. Mark Blount is also a much better NBA player than Joel Anthony. Joel has yet to prove he can catch a cold, while Blount provide to be lazy but when on, could be a solid scorer out of post and mid range.

Joel Anthony is a shot blocker and absolutely nothing else.

The dude hates LeBron, he's just making fun of everybody else who wanted to come here because of LeBron, while also making it seem like LeBro can bring in whoever he wants. Dude needs to get a grip man, he's nothing but a s*** roleplayer, I'd rather take limping Mike Miller with a bad back than him.

The funny part is, the news outlets seem to take him seriously.

Even though my feelings were kinda hurt during the moldy hobo internet-wide saga 4 years ago, I would welcome back Lamar to Miami as long as it's for the minimum. **** no to Stevenson

trade Anthony+cash+2nd round pick somewhere, sign Mo, guarantee Varnado&Ennis.

That's all.

He played 24 games and averaged less than 14 minutes a game. There's nothing convincing about that sample size. The larger sample sizes, his entire career, points to him being a below average shooter even on a limited volume

How many other guys would be better at a 14th 15th man role?

Please explain where I was wrong?

Mark Blount; 8ppg 4.6rpg 23mpg in a 11 year career w/ 6 teams.
Joel A; 2.4ppg 3.2rpg 16.9mpg in 6 years w/ 1 team.

Mark Blount was also traded 4 times, which means 4 differnt times, Blount had value, we can't find anyone to give us a 2nd round pick for Joel.

If your going to call someone out, bring some facts or reasons. Thanks

The only difference is Blount while not a good player had a certain skill set 7footer who can shoot the ball.
That's more attractive than an undersized defensive center that you can't even think to pass too

My friend, there is no point bringing facts about Joel to you. Your blind hate is just that - blind.

I see you didn't step down from your modding as your end of season tantrum insisted you would - second time in a row. Being a mod and being able to threaten posters is too much for your ego to give up I guess.

Joel has been great for us and served us well last season too. Blount never did.

Actually I'm still stepping down but we are in a transition(But I'm glad your keeping track, I'll send you an autograph if you like). But before I go into a full rant on HIF, I'll just add that like most of your attacks on me and others, it comes with little to no intellect or fact, its just HIF posting on a message board, so why take the time.

But I'll say LOL @ Joel being great for us last year? All 87 points and 42 blocks he had during the season. On that note, have a good day.

Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA about 20 minutes ago

The Miami Heat continue to express interest in free agent point guard Sebastian Telfair, according to sources close to the situation.

About Joel, I have a neutral opinion about it. His presence is scary because you have this annoying forward reach in to you but at times he gets blown off by some one stronger. Also, he sucks statically and when his contract is up. He's going some where else or he's getting a cheaper deal to stay with us or traded at some point if possible.

By the way, he turns 31 in 5 days.

Telfair makes zero sense to me. He's like all the worst qualities of Cole and Chalmers wrapped up into one.

HA at thinking that Miami would want Telfair....wow. I still dont want Mo Williams, I dont believe this team really needs to add a PG since we run so much without one, plus LeBron running the point is better than anything out there. I would rather another another forward personally.

Mo would be a good scorer off the bench. I wouldn't mind him, though I am not sure if we would be able to maximize his talents here in our system. Rio and Cole are better for that. We'll see.

What about Odom? Al Harrington?

Odom is a bum and washed up, I think hell stay in LA. I wouldnt mind them looking into Harrington its a big body that can hit some outside shots. I wish Caron Butler would get bought out, he'd be a great addition.
