Why would we do that, we are trying to win, no longer in development mode. Also remember its Spo.

PG- Dragic
SF- Butler
SG- Waiter
PF- Winslow?
C- Bam

We need spacing for Butler to be at his best, we need players that are active on offense. Also we will be trying to increase the value of Dragic so hes starting for sure. Winslow best value comes as the back up pg, back up sf and pf, remember Spo thinks of him as Draymon Green light.

I’m thinking more

Dragic is 33yo and Winslow was a better 3-point shooter than Dragic last season. I won't be surprised if Nunn became the backup PG over Dragic this season.

Dion did his earnest to defer to Winslow, I wonder would Yimmy do such?

And are we trading Olynyk yet? Don't care to hear about CP until something at least plausible comes about

Heat took 88 shots per game which is an increase from the year before at 86. What do you think will be the shot distribution?

Just looking at the numbers and thinking out loud. I will assume Butler will get between 15 and 16. I am going to assume 16, but he has only taken 16 and above once in his career. 14 shots per will definitely be number 2. Goran and Waiters took 11 and 10, but that was only because they were on minute restrictions coming back from injury. If Winslow only scores 16 points off of 14 shots, I dont know if he will continue getting the second most attempts, either Waiters or Goran will take over the scoring load.

Dragic was shooting 37% from 3 before he injured his knee. No reason to assume the way he played returning from the injury on minute restriction and knee brace that his shooting is now permanently bad.

I do assume Spo will game plan to get shots for the younger players early in the season, as a development strategy. He has a track record of doing so.

Tbf, no one on OKC's roster of Harden's caliber

I did the math soon after we go Butler.

Butler-16
Winslow-14
Waiters-12
Dragic-10
Adebayo-9
Olynyk-8
Jones Jr.-8
Herro-6
Leonard-5

Also, I think we're at least a top 15 in offense based off the way shots are distributed here.

PG: Goran Dragic - 14 FGA
SG: Jimmy Butler - 16 FGA
SF: Justise Winslow - 12 FGA
PF: Kelly Olynyk - 8 FGA
Ce: Bam Adebayo - 10 FGA

That is 60 out of 88 or 86 shots a game. Leaving 28 or 26 shots for the rest of the team.

If Waiters starts I'm going to lose interest immediately. I'll watch as a diehard, but I'll be REALLY annoyed.

Waiters hit the gym and lost weight in the off season. He will be starting. Most improved player winner right there folks. Guy will be getting triple doubles out there
