Next year's pick is lottery protected. If Heat are in the lottery they get the pick and 2026 draft pick is unprotected and goes to Thunder.

If Heat aren't in the lottery next draft then it goes to Thunder and Heat keep their 2026 pick regardless of whether or not it is a lottery pick.

Sorry I misread, yes you're right.

This year the pick is lottery protected, so if we are in the lottery this year, then that makes next years pick unprotected and it also forced the CHA pick to become unprotected.

All these teams I keep seeing send Jimmy too they don't want him lol. Memphis was probably genuinely interested and had a deal in place with Miami. Jimmy would have been a great fit in Memphis but he probably don't like someone on that team.
