Thompson and a pick package would be nice

We’re sending him to OKC, the Lakers, Cavs, or Celtics

Celts got no young players worth having (I want nothing to do with Pritchard)

Cavs don’t need him

OKC gonna be a nightmare to deal with. Can’t imagine Mia’s brainiacs outwitting Presti at the negotiation table much less getting a halfway decent deal from him.

Lakers make some sense but I’m not overly bullish on a Knetch and pick package from them

Maybe the Spurs. Foxx would campaign for his buddy and Mia could net Castle and a pick package that includes this years first rounder

Some juicy picks available from OKC. Getem while theyre hot.

Forgot about the Spurs, they’d be a good one.

Cavs will need him in place of Allen after they lose.

Cavs and OKC are going to get desperate after they don’t win it all this year

Wiggins is a big scorer.
He deals with this injury and that holds him back.

Heat fans have not seen a big game from Wiggins yet.

Jagsmith and Jaime are just not good. Spo played Jaime at PG tonight and was absolutely lost and Jagsmith at the 4 continues to be a joke. Keshad Johnson should be playing already.

He’s not a leader

Nor is he a number 2

This team can’t afford to invest its future in role player any longer

30m/yr is his contract.
You dont invest any future. This is mediocre money for the league right now.

He was the #2 in the Warriors title run, so he has prove it that he can do it in a champion team.

He has not proved that he can be the #1 in a winning team.

Spoelstra wanted to give him a chance this year but everything goes wrong.
He is constantly injured with Miami while he has missed only around 15-20 games in his whole career from injury.

And the other players seems that they dont try to win.

He wasn’t really GS’ #2

They had an ensemble cast that had a revolving door of so called #2’s night to night.

He’ll be a good moveable contract though

Wiggins had a case for finals mvp in 2022 until the last game against Celtics.
He was head to head with Curry for the 5 first games.

In the last game Curry got all the shots and won the fmvp.

Wiggins started those playoffs as #4 option but he was the #2 option in west finals against Dallas and in the finals against Celtics

Finals against Bos was an ensemble effort and a revolving door of #2s

Wiggins was not the clear cut copilot night after night

More to the point, mia’s roster is not anywhere close to being a contending team.

They have 3 number 3s at best, none of which are particularly good handlers, miscasted as 1’s and 2s.

They all are disposable

Wont benefit....? If the Heat continue their current pace then they could end up with the 8th pick in the draft. Would you rather they make the playoffs, get the 15th pick and lose in the 1st round?
I just meant thinking tanking is gonna be a savior for the Heat when they might not be in the top 10 and any pick outside of the top 5 is a crapshoot. The Heat got lucky with Herro.

But they have nothing to lose by tanking and I've never understood how the existence of a draft lottery discourages tanking. Even if the team with the worst record isn't guaranteed the #1 pick, they still have an 85% chance of getting it. And probably a 99% chance of getting a top 3 pick.

The Tweet in Beenie's post wrote:Andrew Wiggins joins LeBron & Bosh as the only Heat players to have a single quarter with:

20+ PTS
100% FG
Is that both, or one or the other?

Ware looked great again. Hope things are turning around for him after a few bad games.

He is the future of this team after the current titos move on, so hopefully pans out.

He's night and day. One day he can play defense and hit three's, the next he is Mr.Magoo and needs hand holding. He's a rookie though, so some room for error for him!

Jaime on the other hand has been a long cold night, so I appreciate surprises from our Rook
