Honestly theres a lot of blame to go around. Spo diminishing his role didn't help.

There were posters who definitely were saying or implying he was washed.

Jimmy is washed, he went from MVP level impact in 20-23 to all star impact in 24 and 25. There is a clear decline happening.

The Heat were correct not to extend him, at the same time very wrong replacing his extension money with Wiggins/Kyle

Worthy every penny of the extension

What’s being revealed is that every other player on Mia isn’t worthy of their contract

Worth every penny? The extension hasn’t even kicked in

The determination of whether it was worth it or not won’t be made for another two years. Not after just two playoff games. Heat certainly didn’t have Steph Curry for him to hide behind of here. No one else does.

Nope. Not even close. This is the best Jimmy that you are ever going to see going forward.

Literally nobody said that he was washed ... today. We said that he is only going to decline. And sure as the sun rises in the east, he will. He's going to decline right into the teeth of his extension.

And he has declined. If Steph goes down, Jimmy isn't carrying that GS team to the Finals or even the conference finals, or maybe even to the next round.

And it will get worse.

You used spoiler improperly & twisted it. When enso quoted you, it broke the board.

You did this; [*spoiler][*quote] at the beginning, but then put [*/spoiler][*/quote] twisting it up. Idk why you're spoiling quotes to begin with, but try not to twist the codes going forward please lol

Read on Twitter

I’ve never been a huge Steph guy but he may actually be the GOAT. The only player ever to lead Andrew Wiggins to a championship and make him look like a competent/winning player should be a massive boost to someone’s legacy.

lmao he wanted to go to the Suns.

NBA would’ve loved that as well. Heat wanted Memphis.

This is literally a GS title run manufactured by the NBA to prop up their toilet bowl ratings.

Jimmy picks and chooses when to dial up his performances.

He's the type of player who paces himself for a long season and selectively throughout the year accelerates into a full sprint.

Once the playoffs start though, he plays his best basketball

Conversely, the rest of the roster is incapable of raising their performance when the lights are the brightest; its a roster of impotence.

You think all of a sudden Jimmy will no longer be one of the smartest players in the league?

Or that that he'll all of a sudden take up the Kyle Lowry cookie binging diet and forfeit his reputation of being the model of physical fitness?

You think he'll stop having a nose for the basketball and seemingly always be in the right places on court?

Or that his elite level his free throw attempts and percentage will all of a sudden plummet?

Wish I could’ve found the Heats preseason script sent to them by the league officials so I didn’t have to waste all that time watching this year.

Yeah, well we have to get there. This is Jimmy who had
2 months off in the middle of the season before Golden State. We'll see where their season ends and a several more to go where they won't be able to maintain his picks and chooses like we wouldn't.

I think that all of a sudden it won't matter just like one day it didn't matter that Bird and Magic were very high IQ players. Just like one day it didn't matter that CP3 is a very high IQ player. NBA basketball is a physical sport. It's not chess. When your physical ability to do things on the court declines, so will your positive impact.

The only way that trade really works out for Golden State is if they win the finals this year

Good luck paying Draymond, Curry, and Butler all over the age of 37 140 Million dollars

The longer that deal goes the worse it will look, I would not run a victory lap if I were them beating the modern version of the 2010s Atlanta Hawks. They are going to have to see Anthony Edwards soon enough. Jimmy is not capable at this stage of his career to do much more than one last final playoff run, before he is completely cooked.

I would be happy for Jimmy if he finally won the title this season, and I would be happy for Steph if he won another one, but I think that people are counting eggs prematurely. The Warriors aren't even out of this round yet, and this is only the first round.
