Unless Heat make a good move to plug the holes, we better worry about getting past Nets or even Knicks.

It looks like we have put all our eggs in the Oden basket. If he gives 20 quality minutes per game in playoffs, we should be able to negate Pacers' size advantage.

If not, a first-round loss can't be ruled out.

Overreacting much? a first round loss? Seriously? The heat have looked bad but losing to the knicks or nets? Did i pass out and those teams are good again? Knicks have played better of late, but still.

Larry Bird took away any chance of us being bigger than them. Or throwing out a trump card at them.

I honestly don't know what to say, you could get this guy for 1m and you don't take it? Wow

Andrew Bynum signs with Pacers

Post#1208 » by HeatNation88 » Sat Feb 1, 2014 6:29 pm

So today Andrew Bynum signs with the Pacers does this make the Pacers a better contending team? Indiana just got bigger in size and it's a bit scary seeing Hibbert, Bynum,Mahami all 7'0 footers. Please guys express your opinions about this. I hope this thread doesn't get locked but I just wanna give you the heads up about Bynum.

yeah but the big 3 has some infulance too trust me... look it this way

reported:

bynum wants money ( signs for 1 mill )
bynum wants playing time ( he is a third center there curently )
bynum wants starting minutes ( yeah right )
etc. etc.

There were no obstacles in that regard. i think riley wanted it and arison was willing to pay. but spo and the big 3 was against

Don't know what to say, but Bynum will be behind Hibbert and Mahimi (who actually gives us problems).

Bynum will be motivated if he plays against us in the playoffs because this team is basically the only threat.

The Heat I guess are comfortable with Oden.

better we will see time will tell, deeper yes. am i scared - YES, but not because of bynum , because of our play and the Pacers have clearly closed the gap this season - more mature and more experienced

It's not the Big 3s decision. End of the day the organization didn't want him that much. They probably couldn't come to an agreement on whethrr giving him a roster spot was worth it.

They put everything into Oden and well apparently Roger Mason Jr

Dump the ball to Bynum, no one on Miami can defend him. I can hear Vogel right now.

Or Bynum thought the Pacers system was better for traditional big men and were favorites to win over Miami this time.

of course they signed him to keep him from miami, but the heat didn't want him so who cares? I'd rather the pacers play him than hibbert cause he isn't going to get the BS verticality (while bear hugging you) stuff hibbert gets.
