He ain't lying. He's third in the clutch in the league behind Jrue holiday and Deron Williams lol. Scrubs don't count though, therefore Wade is the best.

Ageed, we've been a loser franchise for the last 15 years. It was foolish of us to expect anything different. And even before that Zo saw the writing on the wall and bailed on us. We're lucky to even have an NBA team honestly.

Just wanna point out on the general board, there's a thread asking to rank Atl, Bos, Cha and our coach, and most Heat fans had Spo fourth. Meanwhile, on the Hornets board right now, most of their fans think Spo is coaching circles around Clifford.

I'm not saying they're necessarily right, but at this point you guys gotta admit fans always freak out and blame the coach when they lose, and credit the players when they win.

Heh actually the thread went up a couple days before that game. I'll bet people had more to say after that one, but nah, they had Spo fourth before that game.

People overrate coachings importance. Yeah the coaches are very smart and know much more than you or I but the difference in coaching between Spo and Cliff is not enough to make any difference. The players playing make the difference.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

I agree, but you and I both know if these games went differently, people would be calling for Spo's head here. Oh well, I dunno why I'm saying it, people will still ask for him to be fired as soon as we lose a playoff game. I guess we'll just have to win the next 14 in a row.

We do a fine job jinxing ourselves. It's why we refused a trade up for a hometown guy in Chris Paul and didn't even bother to seriously take a look at another one in Whiteside. If there's a way to screw up we'll find it. Hell Curry could tell us next summer that he wants to come home to help us turn things around and we'd probably screw that up as well.

Spo has been doing a good job, and our players have been playing beyond what I think we expected they would as a team.

72 points in a half? Wasn't too long ago we scored 5 points in a quarter

The criticism of Spo hasn't been irrational, maybe at times over reactionary. Basically he's had his good days and his bad days. The days where he would limit Hassan to 20 minutes for no reason for instance, warranted criticism and were bad days.

Heat actually running guys off the 3 point line and knowing Hornets would blitz JJ and Dragic in game 1, good days.

I've even seen people who have been Spo supporters criticize him when it has gotten bad this season and last season. Right now, Spo's doing a good job, but we haven't even gotten past the first round yet. Hold ya horses!

Nice sig :) We have a misguided Kaminsky/David Robinson fan  here on this board. If you see him wandering around on the Hornets board please tell him my regard.
