I think harkless just adds depth and fills the Derrick Jones void

We still have the 1 year mle to throw at crowder, ibaka or mmillsap whoever takes it and call it an off-season

Taking a step back(unless there's a trade).

KZ is not ready, he shot 37% FG% in the D-League last year.

Iggy's spot has been filled, so unless he's starting(which I doubt) Iggy may be on the move.

Yeah you are right but if they want to play the same as they did in the playoffs it will likely be Harkless starting until Okpala proves himself. I think Harkless can get the Heat by for a few months.

They just added a defensive bench guy which allows Iggy to be moved, sorry, his contract of 15 mil to be packaged/moved.

Imo the Harkless signing is a precursor to Iguodala included in a trade package. He’s going to be the backup SF or compete with Okpala for that spot.

This Harkless signing to me signals an incoming trade or whatever's coming

I just find it weird and tough to see that we'll roll out the Meyers/KO combo again. Then there's the Iggy/KZ/now Harkless/potentially Crowder clog

Just weird all around. Won't overreact now. But hey, that money is indeed not too shabby. At least we consistent with the plan and no Weighters chit
