Caleb sub was right move. Highsmith played a lot better. One of the reasons we were able to come back. The 1st half rotations weren't good. But the late 3rd quarter and 4th quarter subs worked. It was just too much of a deficit to come back from.
On Love, he should play and not start. Defensively he might help on the AG or Jokic post ups. But he'll hurt the team in transition and when Denver is cutting. But he should get minutes.

I think Kevin should start over Struss, he can hit threes just like struss and Aaron Gordon won’t dominate the first 8 minutes just bullying smaller players. I think the lineup should be Gabe, Martin, Butler, Love and Adebayo.

I def. want to see some Love next game. You have to give a little on defense but he's a proven champion why not? This is what he's here for

Dumbest post on the thread...and that is saying something.

Really? What are you expecting a sweep might as well just never watch a game again . You think this team has no chance we played the worse game in a while.

I don't want to get swept either. Or "gentleman swept". Or whatever the hell they call it when you lose 4-2. I want this team to push this to a 7th game. Anything can happen when it's one game for all the marbles.

We just have to stay with them offensively. This is an outlier performance. We are no world beaters on O but we are good enough to blow them out tonight if we shot well.

So frustrating. Legit feel like we should’ve won tonight.

i saw the stat that strus was like 0-6 from 3pt at halftime lol,. he had a wide open 3pter where he took his time to shoot and still missed

we should be encouraged, we shot so poorly and it wasnt really a blowout.

Tim Duncan is a legend but what other good player did they have? We have multiple all stars and some good role players.

Among other players, they had Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker, David Robinson, Stephen Jackson and Bruce Bowen.

Spurs were really talented and hardly just Duncan.

Exactly. Some of those guys were young, and others were old, but they all had talent. Hardly a roster full of guys they rounded up at the YMCA.

Highsmith over Struss and Love off the bench. I trust Highsmith more to move his feet defensively when Denver cuts or when we choose to double Jokic and we need him to rotate. He showed that he can hold his own against Jokic and pretty good defense on AG when he was matched up with him.

I think Love would make our defense better against Gordon. At least he wouldn't be as easy to push around.

Some of you are like wet turds that act like anything less than 82-0 and 16-0 is failure. It's a series.

I think we need to bring Kevin Love back in the starting line up.. we need more rebounding and he stretches the court.

Bench Strus

Vincent
Butler
Caleb
Love
Bam

I know love hasnt played many minutes but hes got to give us 23 a game at least

I'm with you that we're hardly out of it, but come on ... I've seen way bigger meltdowns over regular season losses. And I've been part of a few.

Didn’t like anything I saw tonight. Spo gives Strus way too long a leash, Jimmy continues to let every guy out play him. Jimmy was a non factor in an NBA Finals game. Zero fts, zero aggressiveness. If this is the Jimmy that’s going to show up then we stand zero chance. Highsmith played well, but I’m not going to overreact with him, Gabe was semi ok. Lowry was ok if he made minimum money but that’s just another max player playin “ok” isn’t going to cut it.

Bam, was the lone bright spot but I don’t like our chances if he’s our leading scorer. I don’t have a lot of faith in Herro and feel like we play much better without him, but with Strus playing this bad Herro can’t be any worse. If I had to call it, gun to the head who wins, I say Nuggets in 5. Just outplayed from start to finish, and they have also outplayed us going on about 10 years str8 now.

In the end, I’m just happy Boston doesn’t go into the history books, F Boston. There’s stil like a 5% chance we win, but unfortunately it looks like it would take injuries for us to get it. On to game 2, hopefully we steal one and can carry some momentum from there. Going down 0-2 vs this much fire power will result in a bleak outcome
