And for the record I've always felt LeBron was very mature since high school. Been in the spotlight forever and few blemishes on his record as a person. Great individual. Only thing people point to as being immature on the court is dancing during blow out games but his game is next level basketball IQ, up there with the greats. Kd out here forcing every 3 point shot he can muster up. Give wade that same time he finds a way to get to the rim. Maturity

Also, u mad?

Why would i be mad? I dont support the thunder and tbh i dont want them in the finals, because they will get swept by miami
I just find,it funny how heat fans have suddenly started hating Durant with a passion and are rooting for him to fail! Reminds me of what lebron had to put up with kobe fans being insecure. When your great the hate comes

I don't hate them nor am I insecure, I was being very kind in saying Kd wasn't a mature basketball player yet and I can go in on many flaws is his playing style including his dependence on free throws but like I said. His basketball IQ just isn't up to par

Why my maturity comment got to you I have no idea, learn to read and decipher what hate is and what it isn't.

I don't understand why that guy keeps on posting here? This is the Heat board and of course we are going to discuss the 2nd best player in the league who many think is already better than LeBron, who plays for the Heat. Who would have thought?

It's funny he is accusing us of being insecure and hating on KD when he posts stuff like this:

lebron james comes across as stupid. its a shame he didn't go to college...he may have become wiser if he did.

ray allen joining the heat is completely different to kg and pierce going to the nets....
the celtics are done and completely rebuilding. when ray allen left, the celtics had 1 last push left

Durant has consistently been OKC's best player and look how much he carried the team when Westbrook was out earlier on in the year?
Why isn't Westbrook the MVP? Why isn't Harden then MVP then?

There is no rubbish in this thread. The only rubbish is you posting here and accusing Heat fans of being "insecure" and "haters". Please take that stuff to the GB where you can get others to join you. The league MVP who many think is better than LeBron is having a really bad series and we are not allowed to discuss it? Yeah, okay. He is playing with a top 10 player already, a luxury LeBron never had in Cleveland, yet almost everybody blames Russ, not KD. Sorry, no hypocrisy allowed in here.

During the RS when KD was on that run almost all of us here were giving him props so there is no "insecurity" or "hate" here. I don't understand why you feel the need to post here.

Ha, most of us here are Heat fans. Are you (OKC fans or KD fans or whatever you are) expecting us to be nice to KD when he is obviously choking in the first round?

We are just enjoying the moment because well.. we don't have much else to do here as our team has already made it to the second round.

Relax man, it's just basketball. 8-)

Simmons came back to the Miami Heat and asked Hibbert what he thinks of the two-time defending champs:

"I have nothing against Chris, LeBron, D-Wade, I love Birdman, whenever he checks in the game, I'm always like 'Birdman! Birdman!' I have nothing against those guys. It's competition. I don't hate them. I want to beat those guys so bad. They're talking about three-peating. Nah, we're going to stop that."

Beat Miami in a 7 games serie formular:

1, good coach
2, bigman presence
3, long wing defender with 3pt , the more athletic the better,
4, high BB-IQ point guard, the taller the better

- 2013 SPURS got all 4, we are 28sec from losing to them.
- 2012 BOS got all 4, it took a super sayan lebron to come back.
- 2013 IND might get first 3, so we struggled a bit.
- 2011 CHI 1 and 2, deng is not consistent 3pt shooter / korver was not a good defender back than/ Drose was is and always will be a below average BBIQ fake point guard. so they've never even made to game 6
- OKC 2 and 3, so the same as the BULLS
- POR 1? and 2 and 3 and 4, 6-7 games serie
- MEM 2 and 3 and 4? might be hell of a fight
- HOU 2 and 3, 5-6 games at best
- LAC 1 and 2 and 3 and 4, could be our biggest threat.
- GSW 1? and 2? and 3? and 4? not sure what could happen, most difficult to predict.
- NETS 1? and 2 and 3 and 4, biggest threat in the east
- WAS 1? and 2 and 3 and 4? could be 6-7 games serie

I fear them because nothing is guaranteed in the NBA, just like in life. And it's obvious to me that the NBA and media are ready to crown Durant as the new face of the league. It's not like we ran through them in 2012. If Mike Miller wasn't hitting his shots, the series could've had a different outcome. We don't really know if Wade will be 80% healthy enough to contribute effectively in all of the upcoming playoffs games. What if Wade or Bosh end up not playing well due to injuries or our shooters not shooting well? You can't guarantee that lightning will strike twice in the same place.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

Mike Miller had ONE great game in that series shooting the ball, and I'd advise you to lay off the coulda/woulda/shoulda arguments. It doesn't matter what could've happened if "x" event didn't happen or what not, the cold hard fact is that we beat OKC in 5 games and match up superbly with them and that hasn't changed one bit. The "what if" game is pointless...

Exactly, the thing is i was really trying not to hate on KD by saying well he just hasn't matured yet as a basketball player. OK he's young, he doesn't know what to do yet in these situations. The thing is Lebron and wade at that age just seemed to have a better grasp of who they were. Wade i think was able to get the support, coaching he needed to be his best and always had a great understanding of his strengths and a will to win. And lebron always knew his game but he might have been more insecure than wade was because he was more scrutinized.

It's kind of like this year KD said the game slowed down and he sees the game better. Well its the post season and I'm looking at him like wait, you still haven't figured out Tony 6'4 Allen? You still rushing shots? you still cant get in the post. Im surprised to a degree, i can just blame this on inexperience (not really - he has enough) or immaturity (lack of basketball IQ) and I'm really beginning to realize wade and lebron are miles ahead of alot of these guys.

you should have watched him in his prime like I did when he was on the go to work pistons 2003-08

2004 prince would have been a great KD defender, didn't get a lock of blocks or steals but made life hard for many guards and forwards when he was assigned to them. very active could have been more involved on offense had he not played so hard defensively.

changed a bunch of shots for such a skinny small forward, he had a lot of contests where he would mirror the offensive player and fade back with them managing to obstruct their shot.

his 7'3 winspan and defensive mobility would drive KD crazy, just born ahead of his time haha

Can someone with GB access get this "ExcellentHabits" guy banned. He's posting in the "Heat protest: stupid" thread. Please report him.

His last post on pg 4 is very offensive toward the Miami Heat and should earn him a suspension.

Yeah, if Memphis had a prime Tayshaun Prince, it's over :o

He is still effective in his limited roles and capacities.. I really think Memphis have a solid squad especially with healthy Mike Miller.

I don't fear no teams, but if I could avoid facing one team, it would be Memphis this year.
