Jalen Brown is one hell of a practice offseason player dunno what his mental block is but he doesn't take over like he should in the regular season. He might need a change of scenery because he is not putting it all together for Boston. Last season he looked like the second coming in offseason games but struggled in the season. Boy needs to find his alpha side or develop one before all that skill goes to waste.

I don't know if Bam was being serious or if he wasn't. But I see a problem with his ability finishing his jump shot move. It's his eyes, he stares at space low to the ground. He doesn't look at the player or the rim until after he is off the ground in shooting motion. He waits to long to measure his shot.

I think 16/5/5 is a reasonable expectation though, provided he's not stuck playing PF and is getting 32-35mpg.

Yeah, that's what I predict too

Except maybe less assists, dunno if he'll be playmaking as much this year

why baby him so much Wilts?

he's ready to make that jump. if you expect him to be a borderline star that he's capable of becoming, then he needs to make that jump. those players don't let coaches dictate how much they can do on the court. they go get theirs.

come on bish you know this man

Oh I don't want us to baby him. If it was up to me though, he'd have been playing 33-35mpg last season regularly.

I just don't know if I've seen enough offensively to commit to 18 per game yet. I'd love to be wrong, but feel 15-16 is a more manageable expectation from us for Justise. There aren't many guys putting up 15/5/5, so he'd be on that Yng Iggy train.

Perhaps the following year, he moves to 18-20, but lets wait and see how he goes with a full year in a defined role - something he hasn't had probably ever.

Simply put Bam doesn’t look like he belongs. We need to calm ourselves with this Bam hype. I really hope these young guys on our squad have taken a step forward. Hard to do when your set for life and don’t need to improve. Time will tell.

And Fox....looked pretty bad as well. Brown looks like he can have a Hardenesque career. Won’t break out til he goes out on his own. He isn’t nearly as good mind you, I’m just saying, his potential might not be reached on that Boston team.

Reading comprehension bish!

All I meant was his potential might not be reached on Boston as he isn’t the true “alpha”.

Same as Harden, he had to go out on his own to become as good as he did. Not saying Brown is gonna be as good as Harden lol not saying that at all.

Bam totally looks like he belongs. his jumper looks silky smooth, he just need to be more assertive with his decision making. Bigs take longer. But showing good signs of expanding his game.

I think a lot of us forget how young these dudes are. At a young age a lot of people just want to dunk. I think that what DJJ and Bam had to mature and get it out of their system. Bam is maturing fast. He developing faster than Winslow.

I don't know if that's the case as much as he just didnt have the confidence to shoot it. We will see if that has changed this season.

Bam and Tatum look a lot more comparable is size than what I would have assumed.

A potential season long dark cloud will be Mia's interior defense and rebounding.

clearly the less he thinks the better he is. Unless there is some other video floating around I didn't see, what was on the team USA Video looks promising. Add the new stuff to what he already does and it def looks like his game is growing.

I agree.... I also think he belongs. He looks very athletic compared to that group of players.

I hope that catch and shoot confidence carries over into this season.

Should just keep on re-signing him to beat Vince Carter and his 22 seasons* in the NBA.

Here we go again. Love UD. But year after year, the Heat FO keeps leaving the door open for him to ride the pine all season for 2 million and change, he'll continue to do so
