This offseason starting to smell like the granger/Mcbob offseason.

overpaying guys we know aren't good, then trying to convince ourselves they'll help.

Both Leonard and Harkless are vet minimum players at this point, both shouldn't be rotation minutes in the playoffs.

Who else wanted these guys? name 1 team.

He has to earn some minutes before he can crack the rotation ... let alone start.

I could be wrong but I don't see any trades coming... The Fivereasons people see "trades" happening with every move and I get it .. People like trades and rumors and that drives people to their Twitter account and podcast.

We might sign one or two more players and we might even get a surprise but any Miami trade would have happened during the draft involving the 20 pick

It's what I feared, acquiring Butler at 29/30 and basically wasting/standing pat 2 seasons for 2021. Miami COULD have had a better roster last year if they weren't hoarding for 2021(not open to longer term contracts) and this season they could probably do more moves if they weren't hoarding for 2021. Running it back is basically doing nothing but if there's a short term upgrade we'll look at that.

Even if Aldridge were to be traded for, it's just short term. Now if Miami got Olapido or DeRozen, they could be guys who stay here past 2021 if Giannis doesn't leave.

Hell, I'm up for it. I rather rool the dice on a raw talent then on below average journeyman (Harkless/Kelly/Leonard).

But knowing this org, there's 0% they do it.

Logjam is at the 3 not the 4. Harkless is a 6’7 SF. Word is Riley wants to get big again. Right now the only true 4 on the roster is Precious.

Also, Mason Plumlee got 3/25 - Robin Lopez got 1/10 - Im sure as hell there was a market for the Hammer who before his injury was our starter when our efficiency was highest

Oddly, I saw a lot of Mavs fans celebrating adding JJ as if he was prime Shawn Marion or something lmao. I think they're stuck thinking of the 16-17 JJ.

PS: Also saw Knicks fans saying Harkless would be a good fit here. Again, not that overwhelming of a move, let's wait to see again tonight what happens. Hope Crowder decides soon to give us a clearer picture

No one knows. He did looked great when we gave him spot minutes, he killed the kings on that one game.

Still he can't be worse then Harkless.

In all honesty, James looked good in Minny. 12 pts, 4.7 rbs, 37% at 3pt%, 3.8 ast.
He was in good shape mainly because we got him in shape. If he took care of him self during the COVID break he would fit here.
