I’ll say this about KD, when he was leaving the Nets and was interested in Phoenix and Miami I talked to Randy Embry and he told me Pat questioned whether or not he was a “Heat guy” but the talent is too good to pass up. I wonder if he still feels it’s too good to pass up 2-3 years later

There best bet is drafting one if they can get a pick from 10-20. Derek Queen, Thomas Sorber, Danny Wolf, Maxine Raynaud and Joan Beringer should be available. This draft is deep at Center.

That silly owner trying to win now.

If we involved Ware I think Durant is easily in a Heat uniform.

Watching these finals I am starting to consider Bennedict Mathurin as a good trade target and fit for the Heat. I'm keeping and eye on him.

another thing bout KD is hes not really a 3 anymore esp on defense. plays most mins at 4. if Miami wanted KD they likely are good with trading Ware since he wouldnt play much. we become undersized again with no dynamic wing players needed for that style of play.

KD just isnt a fit with this team

He’s going to make 9.1 million on a team option next year. We don’t have much that would interest the Pacers in trade that would make sense for that low salary. If he makes it to free agency in 2026 might have a shot. Like why would they trade him for JJJ? Or is Highsmith going to be the deal breaker for them? We have picks to trade in 2030 and 2032 but the Pacers will indeed take multiple trade calls that could net a better package. We have like three second rd picks to trade but they are tied up into swaps in 2026, 2027, and 2031

Bam can switch onto whoever KD doesn’t want to guard. Ware can also clean up if KD gets beat. There are ways around this IMO.

Doubt we can get KD without giving up Ware.

No clue who this is but it was the first thing I saw when I got on Twitter so I figured I’d share since we were just talking a little about Giannis

Milwaukee would like our entire team plus all our future assets for the pleasure of selling Giannis vice jerseys.

They can have Bam Herro and a pick and maybe another young asset like Jaquez so long as Mia remains with enough ammo to still go out and get KD.

Would probably mean Mil would require Mia to take Kuzma.

Results, Giannis, KD, Kuz, Mithell and either Wiggins/Rozier

Still some work needed to be done but Giannis paired with KD is an overwhelming core

I don't see how we can beat the Spurs to Giannis. The Bucks will want to rebuild so younger players are better for them. They can offer Castle, #2/Harper, Vassell, and a bunch of picks.

100% - Mia cant beat the Spurs in a bidding war nor any number of other teams for the matter.

That said, Mil is in a bad spot because they dont control their draft picks (included bi yearly swap rights) for a very long time meaning they have no reason to tank. Rebuilding isnt necessarily a given for them.

Getting Bam and Herro and other stuff in return wouldnt be completely terrible for them.

They'd probably just hold on to Giannis in that case, imo. I don’t see Giannis forcing a trade that would leave the Bucks in an awkward position.

As a rookie:
Top 10 in the NBA in block percentage
Top 11 in the the NBA in defensive rebound percentage
Top 15 in the NBA in offensive rebound percentage
Top 12 in the NBA in total rebound percentage

Just improve that processing speed a little on both ends of the floor, add more functional strength and watch the impact increase by leaps and bounds.

got to keep developing this guy and draw up plays to get him easy points. like shaq said u gotta feed the big man. a superstar might not be in our cards but replace rozier duncan love and slo mo with solid clutch role players and we could be competitive. Indiana and OKC only have 1 true star on the floor in Shai and even thats debatable.

Honestly, I think this offseason will be a very boring one for the Heat. The only thing I will be looking at is who they draft and what undrafted talent they sign for summer league.
