Wow.
Richardson have expressed interest in Miami. 8-)

More importantly Chris Quinn.

Hell Yes the return of Chris Quinn!!  :D :D
Anyways I told yall the Heat should and would look at Juwan Howard as a backup PF. Lets face it, Haslem will resign somewhere else for more money.

Does signing vets for the minimum count against the cap? I thought I read somewhere that it didn't.

It still counts against the cap but you can go over the cap to sign minimum salary players

Because we are bitter, bitter rivals with the Mavs only no one wants to admit it except for me. UD needs to channel Zach Thomas and resist the mountains of cash to come braid Bosh's hair.

 Bosh already cut his wig, but still funny. Am really having second doubts that we have Haslem in the bag, but this summer has been so crazy, we have been the luckiest team ever, so I guess why not. If we get Haslem way below market value, this would be the craziest summer ever in the history of sports.

Anyone knows when Haslem might sign, or he is probably waiting for another team to make a higher bid than Cuban already did. If Haslem goes to Dallas for the money, good luck to him, but he definite will miss out in the most exciting times of Heat basketball. He definite is great role player, that will add Championship depth to the team.

Nothing can be done till the Beasley thing goes thru. Btw, I like ur avatar but I couldn't help notice that of all 3 it appears as Bron been the shortest, but in reality Wade is shorter than Bron.

If we do land Haslem, it will be another part of this miraculous off season for us. He is a true blue collar nba worker. We need him.

Wade and Bosh were the cake. Lebron was the icing. Haslem would be the cherry on top if he came back.

Cuban's just f'ing with us. UD has agreed to our deal. Wade worked it out with him, which is why he took less. Nothing's signed yet, so UD could back out. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets an opt out in year 2 to get new deal over a la Tim Hardaway.

As far as the center position goes, if we can't pick up anyone decent from free agency, why not look overseas?

Just recently the Knicks ended up signing a Russian center to a 3 year deal with only the first year being guaranteed. Surely there would be a decent European center that would be willing to sign for the $1.5 million and a starting spot (most likely) to showcase his talents to possibly get bigger contracts in the future.

I can name just one player that would be PERFECT for your team.

Patrick Mills.

He is a Proven Professional (Starting PG for the Australian Team.) Can run the floor, drive and dish, Can move without the ball, running off screens, can play defence quite well, (At least at an international level!) And he has a decent three point shot. Did I mention he's quick? (He burnt Paul, Williams, and Kidd in Australia Vs USA Pre Olympic game!) You will need a smaller PG that can keep up with the likes of Rose, Rondo, Paul, Williams, Harris, Brooks and Lowry. He is a RFA with Portland, but you would probably get him relatively cheap. I know you have Chalmers at Point, but Mills could be the perfect backup! I cannot believe that he is not mentioned more with all this FA talk.

I really think that you should consider this guy, he is a lot more mature than most players his age, and he can Ball, he has/had no chance in Portland behind Miller and Blake, (While he was there) Check out some Highlights of Patty Mills, and tell me what you think!
