Nothing changes. They had Mahinmi earlier. Bynum at this point is much worse defensively. Good for us. This is insurance for Indiana's bigs in-case someone goes down or gets in foul trouble.

Hell Phoenix just stretched their asses 2 times without any talent and size advantage in the front-court. Just play well and don't try to get cute with the rotations.

Bynum being in there when Hibbert is out or in foul trouble will greatly increase their chances. Bad day for the Heat. 3peat not looking too promising now.

Bosh is going to get absolutely destroyed on the glass now. They better hope and pray that Oden stays healthy and gives them something.

yup and I actually haven't seen anything that makes me feel Oden will rebound that much better over Hibbert and others.

Im interested to know what our next move is. Our signing of Mason Jr was stupid. We had a chance to address our ONE weakness and we didn't. Oden better turn into prime Shaq soon or I'll be very worried

If you tell me we will be playing Bynum a lot during a series with Indiana I would be excited because it would mean Hibbert is on the bench (our real problem). I like our Bosh/Bridman, Bosh/Oden combination during a series with Indiana. If anything, I would be more concerned about Beasley's defense. If we can have Beasley to play West/Scola straight up on the defensive end - since Haslem seems washed up - then we have something Indiana needs to worry about. We need a PF that can defend the West/Scola combination more than worrying about Bynum as a backup to Hibbert IMO.

he is better on offense than both Mahimi and Hibbert. He has moves, i saw him destroy Noah! destroy!

Their defense can also hide his defensive weaknesses well. They are also the only team that actually pounds it inside against us, and makes a concerted effort to do this.

The only way we can counter this is with great shooting midrange/3pt shooting, Oden playing like GOAT defender and great wing defense to prevent that pass into him or of course Lebron God mode.

We actually have no one to defend Hibbert, no one to defend Bynum, no one to defend West and their defense kills our small ball.

Our best bet is hope Bynum physically cant play effectively and we will literally have to run them out the gym, it will be need to be small ball on steroids and with half of our wings old, yea...goodluck

Do it. This could work, the biggest knock on him last time was lack of dedication and the weight he looks right now if he's a littoe bit athletic at all we can push the pacers on transition and use him as a big body

says the guy who thinks the answer to our problems is an injured - hasn't played a game in almost a year Okafor. :-? :-?

Bynum is now on a team that will use him, Lakers and Kobe was a fight to get Kobe to pass the ball. Cavs has a bunch of chuckers and never played to Bynum's strengths. Pacers will actually use him against us, in the right way.

better hope Bynum cant run or move come playoff time
better hope Bynum is so depressed in Indiana that he barely wants to come out the house to go to practice
better hope we shoot them out the gym
better hope Oden becomes Mutombo on defense and rebounding
better hope Lebron is Gawd and Bosh is Midrange King in that series

So for the record what was the difference between the vet min prorated for the rest of the season vs 1 million dollars?

Put Bynum in a system where they get him deep in the paint and all they have to do is drop it off to him against Bosh and Bird. Its a wrap. Like i said, better hope the dude can barely move come playoff time. This Pacers system fits Bynum because they will actually use him, this isn't the Lakers or Cavs that you have to beg guards to get him the ball. Indy thinks all they need to do to get to the finals is get those two easy points continually in the paint, they know were are lunch meat in there. They just solidified themselves at a position that is our GREATEST weakness.

Me and you both know, centers can SUCK against any team, but DOMINATE US like prime Wilt. Lets keep pretending 0-11 will happen against us.

Bynum's stats are misleading because he was just "playing around" and took a lot of jumpers. Keep in mind that this was a guy that shot over 55% two years ago, and that was often over triple and double teams. If all you want him to do is rebound and putback, he'll shoot over 55% easily, maybe even 60%, certainly, it can't be worse than Mahimi's 42%. Bynum is also a better free throw shooter.

Because the Heat can defend weak centers even, every center is good against us. Every single after is wilt. Couple weeks ago Bargnani was Olajuwon.

Keep fooling yourself into thinking Bynum isn't a problem when healthy and motivated

He wasn't playing around in anyway. There was absolutely no reason for that. If anything he wanted to prove himself and get the rest of the money from the CAVs. I'm assuming you haven't read about how his contract was structured.

Bolded part: WHY?...
WHY?

watched the Cavs a lot, they don't know how to play with a center.
Bynum could have been even more effective in LA but Kobe is a ball hog

I understand the implications with health, I have the same concerns with ODen. Low risk high reward at 1mill
