James Jones anyone? Not terrible for a 15th man. Would rather have him than phucking Luke "Turd King" Babbit.

I think Babbit was really underrated last season. He opened up the floor to start the game and could give the team a good 10-15 minutes in a position of little depth on the team. Those few minutes starting enabled the Heat to have a spark off the bench with JJ and he could close out games fresh.

James Jones plays no defense. Babbit was surprisingly a good defender. Even though he can't shoot anything but a flat 3, imo I think he can improve the other stuff.

Honestly I really wanted Hayward. I guess I was blinded at the time due to our hole at SF and the lack of a big name on the roster. He was the closest thing.

Honestly I really wanted Hayward. I guess I was blinded at the time due to our hole at SF and the lack of a big name on the roster. He was the closest thing.

Oh don't get me wrong, i did too and I am not upset that we went after him. If there is mutual interest you have to go after the best available guys.

I was unable to convince myself that he was worth 30mil a year though, and would we be better off having him OR 2-3 decent players for the same money. Those numbers I listed are the best of his career and I feel that's probably where he will settle at even though he has improved every year.

I love the production Goran gives us and its even better when you take his contract into consideration and I will take Dion plus whomever else we get for that 30mil. Whales/Superstars are needed in this league, couldn't convince myself Hayward was that.
