It would be a miracle if the Heat can steal game 2 after such an abysmal shooting performance. Denver's offense is such a well oiled machine. Doesn't help Aaron Gordon was abusing Vincent early on. Will be interesting to see what Spo will counter with in Game 2.

We just came off a grueling 7 game series w/ just 2 days rest going into this altitude. Nugs been resting for 10days. Even the best of teams would struggle. Underdogs in game1 in nba history have only won 2 times since 2005 & 4 times since 1996. keep that in mind when you start to lose your minds here.

People seriously need to understand this gm1 situation. Only TWO teams have won gm1 as an underdog, TWO!!

I'll take an 11pt loss any day in spite of 40% shooting & only having 2FT's for the entire game. Low shooting % is indicative of tired legs, understandable after a 7gm series. In spite of that we still shot more 3s than them. Adjustments will be made. We get 2 days rest. I have no doubt we'll come out shooting better 2nd game. Denver record not as good when both teams have same amount of rest.

I'm not afraid of this Denver team like many here are. I wasn't impressed w/ what i saw tonight. Did you see how they played when Jokic came off? THey looked lost. They're depth is not what they put it out to be.

I respect Nuggets but i absolutely am not afraid of them. Murray spends more time showboating after made shots. Watch what happens when our players get their legs under them & able to put better effort on defense. Is Murray even any better than Brunson? We've faced some tough guards to get here including Jrue Holiday & we've handled every one of them. Hell is Murrays shooting % even much better than Marcus Smart?

You guys think “we found something”? Lakers thought that too lol. They toyed with us all night long. Up 10, then, 15, then 24 lol sure we cut it to 10, then they went back to Murray Jokic PnR and stomped on our throats.

It's game 1. If Denver comfortably wins game 2 but Heat fans should be worried. But not after game 1. Coming off a 7 game series on the road in altitude it was going to be a hard game to win. We'll definately see Heat give a better effort in game 2. That should tell us where this series is going. Denver is probably better team. But how much, we can't say from just this game

No offense to anyone in particular, but all this "I'm not scared of them" and "that wasn't that bad, we only lost by 12" talk sounds just as stupid as it did when the Lakers were doing it.

If you're not scared, you should be scared. That is a great team with an engine for an offense, and we struggled to stop them. We also couldn't get our offense going, and its not like they had nothing to do with that, even if we also missed a lot of open ones.

We need to tighten up in A LOT of areas or this will be a sweep. None of that moral victory crap.

Anyways, we didn't show anything tonight to be overconfident. The exact same thing happened with the Lakers. They 'thought they found something' and 'weren't scared', and got slapped up and embarrassed in four games.

Underestimating them as an opponent and taking weak ass moral victories from "not getting blown out" (what a joke btw, an L is an L) and "beating us after 2 days rest" is weaker than anything I've said about having a respectful fear of what they can do. They scored whenever they wanted against us. We absolutely cannot go into next game with the same play and expect to win just bc tonight wasn't a blowout

Things a lining up perfectly for a Herro return at this point tbh. I just have no clue where Spo slots him in, do you get rid of the starting lineup that has done so well? Do you bench Duncan who is having a very good playoffs and is making a lot of good plays? You can’t bench Highsmith, he’s shown to be very good on both sides of the ball and you need as many guys that can play both sides as possible

I didn't even realize he's been that bad . This is where Herro would have been huge for us. So many open looks tonight that just didn't drop. Spo should give KLove some burn just for some added size in there. Can't do any worse than Zeller.

Everybody (except the Nuggets ironically, who I'm told to be overly confident about beating since we didn't get blown out tonight) has something going on with them healthwise in the playoffs.

Jimmy gutting it out would be him trying to get to the line. He's got to at least try to do that much, even if the ankle is bothering him.

I don't see this Nuggets team any tougher than the team that just took us to 7 games. As far as i'm concerned our biggest obstacle was the Boston Celtics. We come in any fresher and we'd have shot far better considering how many open looks we missed & who knows what the results wld be. Denver simply caught us at the wrong time. 2 days rest and lets see how truly scary this Nuggets squad really is.

Who is our Tim Duncan?

Tim Duncan is a legend but what other good player did they have? We have multiple all stars and some good role players.

Among other players, they had Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker, David Robinson, Stephen Jackson and Bruce Bowen.

Spurs were really talented and hardly just Duncan.

You're just naming names without checking to see how good those players were in 2003. D-Rob was in his last year and 37 years old and not a scorer at all by that point. Parker was 20 and nowhere close to being a star at that point. Manu was a rookie who averaged 8 PPG and nowhere close to what he would become. Stephen Jackson really? He averaged 12 PPG that year.
