He wasn't playing around in anyway. There was absolutely no reason for that. If anything he wanted to prove himself and get the rest of the money from the CAVs. I'm assuming you haven't read about how his contract was structured.

dominated Noah and the Bulls defense, the same defense that we struggle against. I think i'll take that guy for 1mill every single day of the week, especially when we have NO reliable Center that can do what he does.

Did I just see someone suggest Darko? Didn't he retire last summer?

Now show me his season stats...

Put Bynum in a system where they get him deep in the paint and all they have to do is drop it off to him against Bosh and Bird. Its a wrap. Like i said, better hope the dude can barely move come playoff time. This Pacers system fits Bynum because they will actually use him, this isn't the Lakers or Cavs that you have to beg guards to get him the ball. Indy thinks all they need to do to get to the finals is get those two easy points continually in the paint, they know were are lunch meat in there. They just solidified themselves at a position that is our GREATEST weakness.

Me and you both know, centers can SUCK against any team, but DOMINATE US like prime Wilt. Lets keep pretending 0-11 will happen against us.

He didn't have to beg the Cav's guards to get him the ball. How many Cavs games have you actually watched? Now he had to bg in LA to gt the ball? He sucked donkey balls on both O and D with the cavs.

2-10 happened against us.

He is not even close to the LA Bynum.

You need to fit physically to execute your post moves quickly and well. What don't you understand? His knees are shot!!!

lol. He didn't suck with the Cavs. The Cavs would have been contending for the worst record again without Bynum(makes sense since other than Bynum, their personnel is the same.) It's only Bynum and then Deng that they're ahead of last year's pace. And so far, they haven't done any better with Deng(12-23 with Bynum, 4-7 with Deng), so even with a half-hearted effort, you could say Bynum's impact is equal to Deng's, and Deng is a guy that teams would have paid $10 million for.

exactly, you have no response. We cant defend bigs and we never could. Bynum and West would tear us apart if Bynum is fit.

The way we beat teams with good Bigs is with shooting. And the Pacers play the defense that shuts down our 3s so what exactly are we hoping for? We are hoping Bosh finally plays well against the Pacers and that Lebron can carry us again and again and again and likely without HCA.

Maybe playing around isn't the right word, testing a new style of play is probably a better description. He wasn't taking any jumper two years ago.

Its not time to panic... Yet. We do have a power rotation of Bosh/bird/oden and possibly beasley at the 4 even tho I mentioned before that I would have prefferred us signing bunum to bulster that power rotation and not improve indianna's. I think we can all agree this team still needs to make on more move. Whether that be a athletic wing that can hit the 3 and defend or a big man to play spot minutes behind bosh:bird:oden. Come to think of it our bigger need is for that athletic wing. Battier looks DONE, if batty was hitting his 3 and moving like before we wouldnt be having this conversation with Oden improving. Thats where a player like miller helped us out so much. He was versitile, hit the 3, passed good, and actually tried on defense. We need a player of that caliber BADLY. I dont feel confident when Ray or Batty shoot the 3 anymore..... Roger mason is not the answer we seek. In a dream world Ariza would replace battys spot, but I dont think its possible.

People need to start to see that we need a wing. Bosh/Bird/Oden/Beasley/Haslem is plenty of rotation players, we are not going to that deep on the bench come playoff time. Im hoping that Battier is saving his energy for playoffs. Any upgrade would have to be a Trevor Ariza quality at the least.

I'll go on record stating that I think this was a mistake. I thought, and still think Bynum could have made a difference for us.

I don't want to feel this way so I'm conflicted. I hope it wasn't a mistake. I hope there's another move or two to be made, and we just don't have all the info. The playoffs should be very interesting to say the least.
